Ryder POV:
God Monday Mornings Sucked. Especially when you had a kick ass party in the early hours of Sunday morning and were still feeling a bit groggy from the hangover.
None the less when my alarm rang for the fourth time I refrained myself from smashing it and slowly got out of bed. I headed to the shower and quickly washed myself and my teeth before throwing on a black tshirt and black skinny jeans with some combat boots. I grabbed my back pack and headed to the kitchen where I found Bessie. She was my head maid and basically the woman who raised me. My own actual mother was a floozy. She married my dad for his money and it's no secret. She had me because she was expected to , her job was to make an heir. Then she could just sit back and let the money roll in. Apart from she got drunk one Christmas when I was 13 and got pregnant again with my sister; Amelia. The entire way through the pregnancy she complained about being fat and ugly and how she hated the Baby For making her this way.
I rolled my shoulders and neck and grabbed a apple from the bowl.
"Now listen here boy, I did not keep you alive 18 years for you to go and get yourself killed by undernourishment. Get some real food; here." She said sternly slipping a plate of egg toast and sausages on the kitchen island. Smiling at her I placed the apple back and sat down, knowing she wouldn't take no for an answer. Bessie Was in her 60's now and had raised me and my sister Amelia from birth even though she had two children of her own. They were now in their thirties though and had children of their own. I tried to give Bessie as much time off as I could to spend with them but she worried about me and Amelia and soon found her way back.
"Where is your sister? She should be down by now; she will be late!" She scolded heading towards the stairs.
"Bess, she's at her friends House. She slept over for the weekend because I had a party." I explained placing my plate in the dish washer with my cutlery. I checked my watch and realised I had to leave now.
"Ah ok. The maids did a good job of cleaning up this time; I couldn't tell you'd even had a party." She reply drily; she never approved of my party's. She knew what went on at them.
"Well that's what their payed for so good." I chuckled entering the garage through the kitchen. I patted my baby on the roof and my mind flew to the bet. I could never give up Jessy. Yes I'd named my car; get over it. So is just have to make damn sure I won.
I hoped on my car and started the drive.
I pulled into the school car park and received the normal amount of states coming my way. I revved the engine and zoomed over the car park to the side where I meet the guys. I pulled in my spot; completing the line of Ferraris.
"Hey guys," Ethan, Dylan, Isaac and Mason were all stood together leaning on masons cars bonnet talking. I slapped them on their backs and hiked up on the car, sitting next to Jason. It seemed we had everyone's attention in the car park although I didn't understand why; we were doing the exact same thing they were.
"Where's Eli?" I asked, suddenly realising there was a member of our group missing.
"He's coming now actually," Isaac laughed and pointed over to see Elis green Ferrari come shooting through the school gates and recklessly skid around the corners.
"What the hell? Why's he driving like that?" Dylan asked laughing when he nearly knocked over the school sign. I stood up curious and walked a step closer. Ethan pulled me back just in time though as Eli zoomed around the bend and picked up speed then suddenly pulled into his place. The whole car bounced back on its springs and we laughed. Eli opened his door and jumped out an evil look on his face.
"What the fuck!? You dipshit. I think I'm gonna be sick." A melodic voice yelled out once the back door opened and a flop of dark brown hair tumbled out of the car. Hazel followed and climbed out of the car, stumbling like the mystery beauty before her. They both turned their backs on us and faced Eli pissed, meaning I couldn't see her face yet.
"You absolute Moron. You could've gotten us killed!" She yelled grabbing her backpack and hitting him around the face with it. She took him off guard and ended up knocking him to the group. "I did not mean to do that but it serves you right."
"Yeah and I'm pretty sure you ran over a cat your jerk, And all because we asked you to drive carefully! Why do you have to be such an annoying dick?!" Hazel yelled angrily before kicking him in the stomach.
By now me and boys were laughing our asses of as Eli got his ass handed to him on a platter but two girls. And one of those girls I thought could be classed as a midget. The sound of our laughter made the two girls spin around and I instantly stopped laughing.
She was incredible. Her long brown hair flowed in natural ringlets from her head down to her waist and her figure was small and petite but she looked strong underneath. She had dazzling green eyes that looks so bright that I thought nothing about this girl could be dull. My eyes quickly focused on her plump pink lips and I had the desire to quickly grab her and kiss the living daylights out of her and mess up that perfect hair. I snapped out of my daze when I realised she was snapping her fingers in front of my eyes.
"Is he always like this?" She asked sarcastically, laughing at me. I quickly recovered and smoothly leaned back on the Ferrari.
"Only when I see a beautiful woman," I replied before holding out my hand. "And who might you be?" She rolled her eyes and held out her hand.
"I'm Frankie Lee." She said shortly to everyone, but I grabbed her hand and quickly kissed it. This was Eli's cousin. This would be fun. I let go of her hand and was surprised to see that it hasn't affected her at all.
"Well I'm Ryder Axton. This is Ethan, Dylan, Isaac, Mason and I'm sure you know Eli," I joked after pointing everyone out. They all smiled and waved back. I watched her interact with them, and couldn't help but smile at how sweet and gentile she look. Although she was petit she had curves in all the right places and her cheeks were slightly chubby making me want to kiss them....
"Well nice meeting you all." She smiled at everyone but for some reason rolled her eyes when she met my gaze.
"So how are you liking staying at your cousins house? Cause if it's not up to your standards there's a place for you in my bed anytime." I said smirking at her expecting her to blush and look to the ground or hopefully she'd just make this whole thing a lot easier and agree. We could be back at my house within 20 minutes. My eyes widened in confusion when she simply start back at me though; unimpressed.
"Whatever. This has been fun." She said again with the sarcasm.
She turned away and I watched her ass sway as she walked over and interrupted Hazel and Eli who had continued to fight. She broke them up by pulling Hazel over and talking to her. Hazel nodded and grinned before linking arms with her and heading in towards reception.
We all watched them walk away and I laughed out loud when Frankie turned around and stuck her middle finger up at Eli.
The bell rung and I shook my head in disbelief as I followed the guys to first period. She was quite a girl. Maybe this will be harder than I thought. Not impossible, just Harder.
First period Monday was PE so I headed to the boys changing rooms in the gym. I shared this lesson with Ethan and Isaac so I went and changed by them in the locker room. Ethan wouldn't stop talking about this 'incredibly fit girl' he'd been with at my party; which confused me.
"Dude aren't you still with Brooke though? I mean what's happening with that?" I asked pulling on my plain white pe top and my black shorts. I started lacing my trainers as I watched Ethan sigh and lean back against the lockers. He looked exhausted.
"I don't know. I mean we had this fight Saturday night and I came to your party and I kissed that stupid girl and went and made it a thousand times worse." He said sounding in pain. Me and Isaac shared a look; Ethan never got upset about relationships. He Was more like Dylan and me; he liked it purely physical.
"You really like this girl?" I asked. Brook was an amazing girl, Ethan was lucky she went out with him.
"I think, I do." He said nodding his head. He looked as if he'd just been given a life threatening disease. "Oh god," he cried putting his head in his hands. "Shit I've screwed this up so much."
"If you really like her than stop fucking around dude. Tell her how you feel and things will work themselves out. Fight for her." Isaac said suddenly, I looked over at him and patted Ethan on the back.
"He's right bro." I said, uncharacteristically agreeing with the whole 'fight for love thing' purely because seeing my friend this upset wasn't nice.
"You know what? I will. And I'm gonna fucking win back Brooke Hill." Ethan shouted suddenly encouraged, he jumped up and ran out of the changing rooms leaving me and Isaac shaking our head in wonder.
"Our little boys grown up so fast," Isaac wrapped his arm around my neck even though I was nearly a half a foot taller and we walked into gym together.
