The lady in the robe sighed. "Honey I don't think that's the best idea, I mean don't get me wrong I can do it but the prices are high and they might not be worth it." She looks at the floor.
I wasn't buying it. Here I have the opportunity to save the only family I had I wasn't going to waste that. " Tell me the consequences" I said firmly.
She only grinned. "You are a wonderful young girl, here you have the opportunity to do/get whatever you want and instead you chose it to save another person's life, that makes my heart melt." She says wiping tears from her face.
I smiled. "what are the prices if I save my father's life." I say quickly.
"Well honey normally the price for saving someones life is giving up your own." She stared at the floor.
I was socked. I guess it was a reasonable price but did I really plan on doing this. I mean don't get me wrong I love my father but it's not easy giving up your own life for someone.
"I'll do it" I said trying to keep my voice straight but failed as after my sentence I felt a tear fall down my cheek.
I saw the lady in the robe look at me with the most kindest smile. "Honey every wish I grant has to have a price but because you are my friend I will ask less of you but this might be worst than the original price."
"Tell me and will decide witch price I will pay." I said sternly but then I said something that had been on my mind for the whole time that we were even here. " And... I don't want to be rude but are you even a.."
"Honey stop doubting me it's really annoying Yes I am a real witch please don't doubt me again." She interrupted me.
I sighed it was just hard to believe. But what did i have to lose. If she wasn't a real witch Nothing would change. But if she was she would save my fathers life. It was a pretty alright deal considering my situation.
"Well then Whats the second option." I asked clearing all my thoughts.
"I never normally do this but their is something about you. Your different and because your my friend." She replied with a smile.
"The second option is that your father will be saved and never be sick until his 90 years of age. But he will never know you existed or that he has a daughter. The people that know you now will have no memory of you. And you may live.... But as you can see the price for saving someones life is your own but I will be generous and you may live until your 27 birthday then you will naturally die."
I sulk down in my seat. In both of them it result in me dying but I was looking forward to the second option but I didn't know for sure.
"Can I have time to think?" I replied.
"You might not have time, Honey." She says looking at my phone.
I jump when my phone vibrates. With a shaking hand I grab my phone and the message I was dreading appeared on the screen.
'Winter your father is dying please come ASAP!!!'
