The whole world stood still. First me then another and another. Each one breaking one by one. I promised myself to protect one..but failed. The stars flickered and the ocean was calm. But far behind my smile was a sad broken darkness. I do my best to hide it, trying to reveal it bit by bit. But always go back to my fake smile in the end. Whats ahead is beyond me now, all I know is what's done is done. The mistakes I made, the things I should and should not have done. All in the past. But still clinged to my mind. Because the time was coming when I must fix what the dark has caused, and save those before they fall. Including the one I love. I swear, over my dead body, I wont let anyone get hurt like I have. And with all the ones that care behind me. I will not fail. I will rise.
