Ch.29 Weak

After taking care of the werewolf, Tyler went out of the haunted house and started to look for Dawn. He went around and spotted her near a hot dog stand munching on some hot dogs.

"Uh, Dawn" he said as he went up to her.

"Hm?" she said as she faced him with her mouth full of hot dogs.

She then looked at the hot dogs in her hand and realized what she was doing.

"Oh uh, I felt like I needed a break" she said "All of this fighting is making me hungry."

"Okay that's just wrong."

"I know" she sighed "I shouldn't be eating in a middle of a disaster."

"No not that, save some for me!"

"Here" she smiled as she handed him a hot dog.

"Well" a voice said before Tyler could take a bite "I knew I'd find you guys here."

They turned and saw Luke with a sneaky look on his face.

"Oh come on" Tyler groaned "Couldn't you wait until I finished my hot dog?"

"No."

"Okay then" Dawn frowned "What is it that you want with us?"

"Oh I don't want him" Luke pointed to Tyler "I want you."

"If this is about you wanting me back, then the answer is no."

"Oh come on, you can't hide from yourself you know, I made you who you are."

"This is not me" she scowled "I was a normal girl living happily until you turned me to this."

"But look on the bright side, if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't of met Ivy and Raven."

"That doesn't matter, you turned me into a monster, and no matter how much you try, I will never join you!"

"Well then" Luke said as he grew out his fangs and claws as his eyes turned yellow "I guess we'll have to do this the hard way."

But before he could attack, Tyler threw the hot dog at Luke as it jabbed his eye.

"Now would be a good time to run" Tyler said as he and Dawn ran.

But as they were running, Luke turned into his wolf form and ran after them. Dawn and Tyler continued to run until they came upon an empty field where Luke jumped in front of them and growled at them as he turned back to his human form.

"Like I said Dawn" he growled "You can't hide from yourself, you will learn to accept who you are, even if it takes more than 4 years, you're one of us now, so join me."

"I think you know my response" Dawn said sternly as she grew out her fangs.

"I know" he said with a sneaky look "That's why I'm gonna offer you a deal."

"A deal?"

"Join me, or I'm gonna kill your friend" he growled as he looked at Tyler.

Tyler's eyes widen as Luke started towards him with his fangs out, but Dawn quickly pushed him out of the way.

"Tyler hide" Dawn said as she kept her eyes on Luke "I'm gonna take care of this asshole."

Knowing that this was going to be a brutal battle, Tyler had no choice but to hide in a tent as he watched through the opening.

"I think it's time to settle this once and for all" Dawn scowled with her fangs and claws out as Luke got up.

"You read my mind" he frowned as he turned into his wolf form and gave a loud roar.

Dawn then turned into her wolf form and roared back. With the full moon shining above them, Dawn and Luke started to fight each other in their wolf forms. Tyler watched as Dawn clawed Luke across his face, but at that point Luke grabbed Dawn by her shoulders and threw her into a popcorn stand. But Dawn then got up and shook the popcorn off herself as she gave a loud growl and ran towards Luke knocking him to the ground. Knowing that this was going to be a long fight, Tyler had no choice but to watch and see who'll win.

Now with the blood, Ethan quickly made his way back to Ivy who was still laying on the ground.

"Ivy" he said as he went to her "I got the blood."

"Give me" she said weakly as she held out her hand.

He gave her the container as she quickly snatched it and opened it as she gulped down the blood. After she was done, she took a deep breath out as Ethan saw the blood on her teeth.

"How do you feel?" he asked as he helped her up.

"A bit better" she said "But still weak, I don't think I can fight."

"What?" he gasped.

"I need more blood in order to get my full energy, and since that's the only blood around here, I can't do anything that involves physical activities."

"So you can't fight?" he said with shock.

"Sorry" she said sadly "I mean I can still help, but it looks like you're on your own with the fights."

Ethan gave a sigh of disappointment.

"Alright" he said "But instead of taking down the other vampires, I say we take down Alex first."

"Good idea."

"So where is he?"

"Um..." she said as she started to sniff "I don't have that good of a scent like Dawn, but I think he went this way."

So Ethan followed Ivy as she used her scent to find Alex. They then came up the back of the fair where they looked through the fence to see Alex in the middle of the field near the woods.

"Oh crap" Ivy said said with her eyes widen "He's gonna use the Animarum to resurrect the vampires that died in 1885."

"Well we gotta stop him" Ethan said with his eyes widen.

"Come on."

In the field, Alex looked down at the Animarum that was still in his hands.

"Looks like it's time to bring back my old gang" he smirked.

But before he could open the box, he caught a scent, he gave a sneaky smile as he turned around to see Ivy and Ethan.

"You're on your feet again" he smirked to Ivy.

"Give me the Animarum" Ivy demanded.

Alex gave a small chuckle "I think you know what I'm gonna say, but it seems that you're still weak, I can smell that you only drank like haft a cup of blood, and that's not enough, so you're basically worthless."

"But that doesn't mean I can-" she started to say when she felt herself loose her balance as Ethan helped her stand.

"Yeah you're too weak" Alex smirked "So you're pretty much screwed. But him on the other hand, oh he's gonna be a great meal for my old friends."

Ethan gave a defensive look, knowing that he was now the only one who could stop Alex.
