Chapter 4
-------------------------------------------------
I sat back, against the cold, cement wall. I finally remembered everything. Thank God they had no clue that I was the one who vandalized the wall. The cop came in and said something, but I only heard the end of what he said, because I was so deep in thought. I sat up and realized Julia was here. "Why the hell didn't you run?" she asked. My enthusiasm left as I remembered why I was caught. I tries to run, and you left without me. I'm the one in here. Not you." I got away from the bars, where she was standing. "It was not my fault. You were drunk, so you must not realize that you told me to leave without you." I listened to what she said, but couldn't wrap my head around it. "Now why the hell would I say that?" I half yelled, half whispered. She shrugged. "That's what you told me, so I did it." I knew that's not what happened, but I sort of felt that maybe she wasn't lying. Maybe she was so drunk that she thought she heard me yell that at her. I wouldn't ever tell her to leave wiyout me, but I couldn't blame her anymore. Both of us decided to blame the alcohol. "So how long are you in?" she asked. I looked at her. "I'm in here until someone bails me out. I was caught for drinking. Nit the other thing." I tried to say this as quiet as I could, because the cop was only a little ways away. I sat down, and sighed. "Well, you're lucky that I have all of this money." she caught me by surprise. How did she get the money to bail me out. "Actually, I have more than enough, so let's go." I lokked at her, when suddenly the officer came over and unlocked the door.
We walked to her Subaru, and got in. I decided now was the best time to ask her about the money. "So, how did you get this money?" She looked at me like I was an idiot. "I decided since our fun had ended, that I would sell the drugs that we were gonna take." I stared at her. "You didn't tell me that you had drugs." She looked at me. "I didn't. Oops! All well, we have money now. So, what do you wanna do?" She looked at me, and I looked at her. She smiled, reading my mind. She put the car in gear, and we left.
