"Del you are so lazy!" Said Christine picking up four coffee cups from where she was sitting. "I'm on break." She laughed. "You've been on break for how long now? You need to get serious Del!" Trace laughed. "Business is slow! Nobody's even here as nobody will be. Lunch rush just passed! Come on Chris have a cup with me." Del said, trying to convince her sister to relax some. "Ehh I guess one wouldn't hurt." Christine said joining her sister. "Wow! You've never joined me on my two hour breaks before!" Del smiled. "Heh, guess I want to rest up before play practice tonight." She sighed. "Wait that's tonight!? Aw man! I thought you'd be at home tonight, I was going to make Mac and Cheese..." Del frowned. "Invite the band over to practice. You got a gig in three days after all." Christine tried to cheer up her sister. "Hmm yea. Ive been meaning to help the new drummer out anyway." Del said getting up to return to work. "New drummer? What happened to Jackson?" Christine asked. "Him and Candy broke up. So he quit the band to avoid the awkwardness." Del laughed. Christine smiled before asking a weird question. "So what are your plans for the future Del?" Del's heart sank a little. "What do you mean?" She said. "I know we've got a year or so to prepare, but you better start thinking about what you want to do y'know?" She smiled. "Heh, yeah. I'll figure something out." Del laughed, even though she didn't know what she was going to do.

Christine, Del, and Trace had finished cleaning the restaurant. Christine and Del walked towards the elevator. "Wait Del!" Called Trace. "What time should I pick you up Friday?" "Around noon." Del said as the elevator closed. "Oh that reminds me. What time do you play Friday I'll try to make it last minute. Oh not till 6:15." Del answered before the doors closed. "What? Then why is he picking you up at noon?" Christine questioned. "I haven't hung out with Trace in ages. He really wanted to hang out, so we will before hand. I miss him." Del said. Christine smiled at her sister. "You are a decent person sometimes Del." she laughed. "Heh, yea when I feel like it." Del joked. "So this new drummer. What is he like? If he's a weirdo I can have Adam check up on you." Christine asked concerned. The both exited the elevator and chatted as they walked to their door. "Trust me Chris. He's a great guy. A big clumsy, nerd. I'll be fine." Del explained as she unlocked the door. "He should be here before you leave for practice. You can meet him then." Del sighed as she slouched on the couch. "Sounds great but I gotta go get ready." Christine said dashing to her room. Del sat back and relaxed. Thunder sounded outside the window. It had started raining hard. "Heh, Chris won't be happy about having to walk in that. At least I can take a quick nap before Cooper gets here." She sighed. The rain came down harder and eventually there was hail. "Wow it really is coming down out there. I don't know if I should try to make it to practice or not." Christine said peeking through the blinds. Del turned on the local weather forecast. "Golf ball sized hail and strong winds up to 40 miles per hour. We strongly advise you to stay indoors and away from windows." The storm was big and didn't look like it was going anywhere. There was a knock at the door. "Cooper shouldn't be here yet." Del thought. She walked over to the door and there he was. He was soaking wet and held a hand over his eye. It was swollen and bleeding some. "Cooper?!" "Oh my goodness what happened to you!?" Cried Christine running over to him. She and Del helped him to the couch. "I was on my way here when the storm hit. I tried to get here as fast as I could before it started hailing but a huge piece hit my eye." He sighed. "I'm just glad you're okay dude." Del said examining his eye. "I'll go get the first aid kit." Said Christine running into the kitchen. She came back with a little box and a towel. "Here, try to dry off some." She said putting it around him. As she looked at his eye she noticed there was only a small cut, but a lot of blood. She got out some peroxide and put it on a cotton ball, and slowly dabbed it on his eye. "AGH! THAT STUFF BURNS!" He yelled. "That means it's working stay still!" Del demanded. "Who is this Del?!" Cooper exclaimed. "Her sister." She said awkwardly.

"Heh yea. I don't know what hurt worse, getting hit by a chunk of ice. Or your sister putting that stuff on it." Cooper smiled. "Hey she saved your life." Said Del eating a popsicle. Christine walked into the living room. "I don't think she saved my life, but whatever you say pal." He laughed. "I just got off the phone with the stage director. Practice is cancelled." She said checking the windows again. "Alright Cooper. I don't think we need to practice tonight." Del said. He slouched back into the couch. "Come on Del I'm fine!" He complained. "Practice can wait for tonight." Smiled Christine. Cooper stares into her eyes and blushed a little. "I-I guess you're right. We probably shouldn't practice Del." He sighed. Del stared at Cooper trying to figure out just what was up with him. Suddenly the power kicked off. "Damn." Sighed Del. "Language Del!" Started Christine. "I'm going to go get flashlights." She said as she felt around. A loud and bright bolt of lightning struck outside the window, shining light into the room for a split second. "AGHHH!!" Screamed Del as she pulled her jacket over her head. "Del it's okay." Said Christine calmly. "Woah Del what's wrong?" Cooper asked her. "Del's scared of lightning." Christine said handing Cooper a flashlight. "Oh man. I'm sorry Del but I gotta go. My roommate thinks a tree just fell into our house!" Cooper said handing the flashlight back to Christine. "You can't go yet Cooper! It's not safe out!" Del muffled from underneath her jacket. "I know, but this is really serious! I'll try to come see you before the show, okay?" He said walking to the door. "You be careful out there..." Christine said to him. "Y-yea" he stuttered, "I will." He said before leaving.

"You're right Del he is a nice guy." Christine smiled. "Yea, a nice guy who is in love with you." Del said peeking out from the jacket. Christine laughed. "No way Del." Del sat up and stared at her sister. "Are you kidding me? Did you see how dumb he was acting around you?" Del said setting up. "You said he was clumsy. He's just met me Del. It's not love." She started. "I mean he was cute." She laughed. "Eh whatever sis. I'm going to hit the hay. Wake me up for work in the morning?" Del asked from the hallway. "You really should do it yourse-" "Thanks Chris! You're the best!" Interrupted Del before she closed the door to her room.
