Leena's POV

One of the rival assassins has a gun pressed against Niall's head. We never got trained for hostage negotiation. Dani, Gigi, and I freeze, not knowing how to deal with this situation.
Out of the corner of my I see my brother moving his hand back to grasp the gun the took from one of the guys he killed. He pulls it out, levels it and fires.
"Never doubt your training." He says his voice is cold, emotionless. He hit the assassin right in the middle of his forehead. Niall's covered in blood now and even more terrified now then he was a moment ago.
Liam turns to me and I look him in the eye. That's when I see it. Just for a second. The fear in my brother's eyes. Not of me, not of what we just did, not of the danger we're going to be facing in the future, but fear of himself. He's snapped.
"Go." I tell him in a level voice. He obeys, taking off as fast as can.
"What was that?" Louis asks his voice shaking slightly. I ignore him.
"Are you alright Niall?" I ask the trembling boy. He nods but doesn't speak. Dani comes up beside me and before she can react I lung at her grabbing her around the throat.
"I told you he was too deep. Now thanks to your poor judgement he's snapped. If I lose my brother I will kill you." I growl.
"What's going on?" Gigi asks running up to us.
"He's snapped because she was to stupid to realize he was too deep." I tell her putting extra pressure on Dani's neck.
"Liam's strong." Gigi says. "Besides he would have told us if he was."
"No he wouldn't. You don't know my brother. He would have died before telling anyone it was to much." I snap. "But mark my words, if anything happens to him I will kill you." I tell Dani throwing her to the ground. I turn back to the boys, they watch me wearily.
"What do you mean he snapped? What does that mean?" I'm surprised that it's Niall asking.
"When your undercover as deep and long as Liam was you lose yourself in your cover. Some either go so deep they become their cover. Others try coming out and they come out completely. Then they snap, their go into another personality and they lose their true selves. It can be deadly, both for the one coming out of cover and for those around them. If they can't come out of it themselves there's only one thing that can be done." I explain. "My brother is all I have left. Our parents were murdered when we were little. If something happens to him I have no one." I turn and start walking away.
"Let's go boys." I hear Dani say a bit horsley.
"What about Liam?" Harry asks.
"He knows the way." Gigi assures him.
