HAESUNG POV

Tears continuously fell from my cheeks..

"Y-You... saved me.." I cried

Eunwoo slowly opened his eyes..

He stared at me sorrowfully..

"I... nearly died that day" I said

"Neh... You were so close to death.. but you somehow came back to life. But because you were that close to death, you received the powers of communicating to Ghosts" Eunwoo said

"Wait... does that mean I... couldn't communicate to ghosts before?" I asked

"Neh.." Eunwoo replied

I sat down on the bench...

Wait a sec..

"Why didn't Appa tell me about this? He kept telling me I was just forgetful.." I said

"Your Appa... has the same power as you.." Eunwoo said

My eyes widened.

"He can see ghosts as well" Eunwoo said

"What? You're lying.." I said

"I'm not.. The reason why he kept this a secret was because I told him to keep it a secret" Eunwoo said

I couldn't believe what I was hearing..

But it would make sense though..

Why did Appa believe me when I told him I could see ghosts?

He never left my side..

My eyes widened..

I just realised all the hurtful things I said about myself... relates to him too..

How I regret having this power and that if I never had it..

I made it sound like Appa will never understand my hardships but... He must've went through the same thing I did...

"Haesung" Eunwoo said

"N-Neh?" I asked

"I have to leave soon"

My eyes widened...

"I can't stay any longer... So therefore, I want to tell you.." Eunwoo said holding my hands

"Wait! W-Why do you have to leave? Can't you stay?" I asked

"I'm only here because of the words I never got to tell you" Eunwoo said

If he's only here because he needs to tell me something...

I blocked my ears.

"Haesung, what are you doing?" Eunwoo asked

"I'm not listening.." I muttered

"Haesung--" Eunwoo said

"NO! I don't want to hear it! If it means that you're gonna leave then I won't hear it!" I cried
