Ch 5: Feelings Revealed Part 1

Brenda's POV

I can't believe that I'm crushing on Leo. I don't want to tell him for a few reasons. One being he may not like me back. I'm half vampire and I've had my heart broken before. And it wasn't pleasant at all. I don't want to take any risks of it happening again.

Once training was over, I went into my room for a while to clear my head. I wait for a while to hear Raph and Jamie laughing. She texted me about her taking Raph to meet her parents. Guess it went well. I opened my door a little to see them go into different rooms. I followed Raph into the kitchen and leaned against the wall.

"So, I take it the visit went well?" I smirked.

"Yeah. They're nice people," he said.

"Very. So, are you guys planning on being an official couple anytime soon?" I asked.

"Maybe. But I haven't heard her say that she really likes me. So I can't really tell you anything there," he smiled sadly, but with a hint of hope.

"Interesting," I said, starting to walk away.

He looked at me, slightly confused. I can't believe he hasn't figured it out yet and he even met Jamie's parents about dating her.

"What are you talking about?" he asked.

"Oh nothing. It's none of my business anyway," I replied teasingly.

"Come on. Spill," he urged.

"Who's gonna make me?" I responded.

"Me! Now tell me! If you don't, I'll tell Leo that you're in love with him!" he shouted, slightly annoyed.

I froze and my smirk disappeared. He wouldn't do that, would he?

"I don't believe you," I said, trying not to look like I was afraid.

"Okay, fine. Don't tell me," Raph said, started walking away, then ran as he yelled, "Leo!"

"No! Get back here, Raphael!" I screamed as I chased him around the lair.

This was going on for a good five minutes until I finally pinned him to the ground. But then I saw a pair of feet standing in front of us. We looked up and saw none other than Leonardo himself.

"Uh h-hi," I stuttered.

"Hi?" Leo replied, confused, then added, "What was that thing you called me for, Raph?"

Raph looked at me and smirked.

"Should I tell him or are you going to tell me what Jamie said?" he asked.

"You're not going to make me tell you," I responded through gritted teeth, showing my fangs a little.

"Suit yourself. So Leo, what I wanted to tell you is that--" Raph started until I put my hand over his mouth.

"Don't you dare!" I almost yelled.

That's when Donnie, Mikey, Jamie, and Splinter came in. They were all shocked by the scene that lay before them.

"What's going on in here?" Splinter asked.

"Yeah? And why is Brenda on top of Raph?" Jamie asked with a confused expression.

"FINE! JAMIE TOLD ME THAT SHE REALLY LIKES YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE DIFFERENT THAN ANY GUY SHE'S EVER MET! NOW PLEASE DON'T TELL LEO I LIKE HIM!" I yelled then cupped my mouth shut.

I can't believe I just did that. I completely exploded, spilling how I feel about Leo.

"You like me?" Leo asked, surprised.

"Jamie likes me?" Raph responded with the same expression.

Jamie didn't know what to think. She left to go to her room. I got off of Raph and he followed her. I stood there awkwardly, waiting for Leo to say something.

"Brenda, can I talk to you in the dojo? Alone?" he asked, emphasizing alone.

"S-Sure," I stammered.

We left to go talk, leaving a very confused Donnie, Mikey, and Splinter.
