The beginnings of Naruto (Naruto x Reader)

Chapter 4

'Oh. My. Gosh.

Ugh how embarrassing! I just ruined my first impression with one of the greatest ninja to live, friggin' Kakashi! Not to mention I screamed in his face then he knocked me out cause of my outburst. Great job (Y/N), great flipping job.'

Giving a sigh, I look at my surroundings once more. I look towards the plate that held a piece of bread, making my mouth salivate.

'FOOD! I'm starving!'

Grabbing up the piece of bread, I decide to eat with my eyes before actually eating it. The bread seemed rather normal, having a crumbly texture with it's little sesame seeds being sprinkled at the top; to top it all off, the bread was a crisp brown. All in all, it's cooked perfectly.

After taking it in the rather satisfying breads appearance, I waste no time to stuff it my mouth.

'It taste just as good as it looks!'

After having the first meal in days, I look towards the small desk once again.

'Oh! A note?'

Under where the plate was a small piece of paper that read:

'Hello, stranger. I'm sorry for my sensei's rudeness, but he had to make sure you weren't an enemy, so he put you to sleep. By the look of your appearance, you haven't eaten in a while. I don't know what your intentions are, but it would be cruel to leave you like this, so I brought you some food and water. I hope you have a good rest.

At first I gave a smile then, I try to suppress a groan from myself due to my stupidness.

'You got to be kidding! Not just did I embarrass myself in front of Kakashi, but Sakura too! Wait, if Sakura was there, then all of squad seven must've been there!!'

Letting my face take many shades of red due to my flustered state, I grab the glass of water to wash the emotion back down my system.

'I hope I don't damage anymore first impressions..'

There he is, the Hokage himself, staring at what seemed to be the most annoying team assigned with the bored faced leader in front of him.

"So, what do you have to report?"

Before the snow haired Ninja could speak up, the loudmouth of the team decided to talk first.

"WE FOUND A GIRL!"

The other teammates turned towards their third partner with harsh glares. Speaking through her gritted teeth, Sakura hissed her threat.

"Naruto...shut. Your. Mouth!"

Ignoring the female members statement, Naruto decided to continue.

"She had strange ripped clothing and she knew who Kakashi was! But Kakashi touched her on the forehead and-BAM! She was knocked out!"

The Hokage seemed interested in what the golden haired child was speaking; giving a hand motion, he asked for Naruto to continue.

"Well she had...had uhh..."

Catching on that his student didn't pay attention to the details of the female in question, Kakashi stepped in.

"The girl seemed around the age of 13. She had (H/L) (H/C) hair with (E/C) eyes. Her clothes are, like Naruto said: 'strange'. I haven't seen clothes like hers from any other villages I've been to before; I believe she's from a secret village of some sort or has something to do with the strange light from yesterday."
