Chapter 6

'Okay (Y/N), you can do this! Close your eyes and focus, now start!'

Moving my hands as fast as I could, I try to mimic the hand signs for the millionth time.

'Rat ~ Ram ~ Dog!'

Pushing my hands outward, I release my chakra once more. The soft green light I've grown familiar with slowly comes out of my palms.

'Yes, yes, yes...!'

As soon as I thought it was working... ZAP.

"Ughh, come on!! I've been doing this for hours!"

Yep, I've practiced the medical ninjutsu technique probably the whole day. First I tried doing it slowly to see if I was doing the hand signs wrong: not the solution. Then I tried pushing my hands in into the plant to see if I maybe needed to interact with it first: not the solution. And lastly, I tried to see if I had to do it faster to see if that would fix it: NOT THE SOLUTION.

It was frustrating to say the least, considering I've been doing it since I've gotten up this morning.

'I need to calm down. Others probably had to do this for DAYS or even months to catch on to it. I'm doing really well with just getting a spark,'

Now that I think about it, it really is cool that I'm getting a spark considering that could never happen in the world I'm from. Ive barely scratched the surface on what I could do here!

When I get out of this hospital bed I can see all of Konoha! The old Japanese style buildings, dirt roads, the people, shops, the training grounds, the school, everything. Not to mention the anime only showed what needed to be showed. I can actually explore ever inch of the town now!

My limits don't stop there, I have the whole world to see!

It's gives an amazing thrill knowing I can do as such. I can feel, see, and hear everything I've dreamed of. I'm living a dream right now!

Now in a positive mood due to my thinking, I look down at the plant that I've been practicing with.

The poor thing looks the same as it did this morning. Discoloration all through it with shades of brown, almost black. It's stem bending as if it's slouching from exhaustion. Fallen petals and leaves are all around my lap and the plants pot that it's sitting in.

After all I've tried, I can't even help this sulking plant.

The positive waves I had now dissipated being replaced the new, negative ones.

'Great, there goes my confidence.'

Before I could go any further with my thoughts, a soft knock resonates through the room.

"O-oh! Come in!"

Hearing that they are granted entry, the stranger walks in.

Turns out the stranger was just my nurse, someone I have became familiar with. She was a sweet older woman to say the least. She's been nothing but a kind soul to talk to. She checks up on me almost every two hours of the day. One time she came while I was trying to do the medical ninjustsu.

Knock. Knock.

"Miss? Miss are you there? I have your food! I'm coming in!"

ZAP. CRASH.

"Miss!!! Miss?! Are you alright?!"

"A-ah yes! I'm sorry, I was working really hard on this ninjutsu, I didn't hear you come in."
