The last part of Summer went by fairly quick. I mostly sat in my room playing video game, watching anime, or reading fanfics. I didn't go outside much, which didn't bother me in the slightest. I hate nature.
I woke up to an obnoxious beeping noise on September 6 at 6:10am.
School.
I turned off my alarm clock, got out of bed and looked in my mirror. I realized that I could see my name, age, gender, sexuality, relationship status, and my crush/partner, too.
Name: Camari Lee Austin
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Panesexual
Relationship Status: Single
Crush/Partner: (N/A)I was shocked. I didn't think it would work for myself. But I didn't have time to be shocked. I had to get ready for school.
I noticed that my short, rainbow hair was all over the place. Yikes. I got my hairbrush and tried my best to get most of the strands in place. There. I thought. It looks presentable now.
( Author's Note: I was kinda thinking her hair could be like the picture above, just to get an image in you guys' heads! :> )
I walked over to my closet. I studied my options. I threw on a Panic! At the Disco hoodie and some skinny jeans from my dresser. I grabbed two random socks from a drawer and went into the bathroom to brush my teeth with my purple toothbrush.
Roughly two minutes later, I made my way downstairs. I opened the refrigerator and got a frozen waffle. I put it in the toaster and waited for what seemed like an eternity until it popped up. I put it on a plate, spreaded butter on it, and took a bite out of it. Laura ran down the stairs, slipping on the hardwood steps. She was clearly in a hurry.
"The bus will be here any minute!" Laura screeched. "Evan! Get your gay ass down here!"
Evan walked down the steps at a moderate pace. He wasn't worried.
"What the hell were you doing? We're gonna miss the freakin' bus!"
"No we won't. Trust me. This is my second year, dipshit."
"Hey, I'm no dipshit! I got bumped up a grade. I'm smart."
"You're school smart," I chimed in with a yawn. "Street smart, however? Not so much."
"Screw off, Camari! You're more stupid than me!"
"My 4.0 begs to differ."
"Shut it! We have to go!"
"I'm not going anywhere without food. Besides, they pick us up last." Evan told Laura.
"Fine," she replied. "But don't come bitchin' to me if you miss it and can't come to school."
"I wouldn't mind not coming to school actually," he said. Laura looked as if she was about to explode with rage, but she took a deep breath and controlled herself.
