Stay With Me;

Ali🌸;

"Excuse me?" I asked.

"Tutor Mario and you don't get detention." She repeated.

"Ugh. I rather take detention." I said.

"If you don't tutor Mario your grade will go down to a low C" she said.

"You can't do that!" I yelled.

"Yes I can. Now tutor Mario or detention." She said.

"Fine." I said.

"Come by the class after school." She said as she handed me a note.

I grab the note and walk out. The class was almost over so what's the point of going.

—Skipping To The End Of School.—

I make my way to Ms. Robinson's room. Once I was there I open the door there was Mario sitting at a desk.

"Ah Ali here you are." Ms. Robinson said. "Take a seat near Mario and get to know each other."

I roll my eyes and walk to Mario. I take a seat across from him.

"Hey." He said.

"Hi." I said looking around the room.

"I'm sorry about Bridget. She's usually not-"

"Save it Mario." I said. "I don't want your pity."

"Pity? No, no, no I actually want to be friends." He said.

"Mhm. Sure." I said rolling my eyes.

"You roll your eyes a lot." He said.

"No really I haven't noticed." I said sarcastically.

"Okay. So have you guys thought of a schedule worked out?" Ms. Robinson asked.

"No." We both said at the same time.

"Well. Here's all of Mario's test and current grade." She said handing me a stack of papers.

"You have an F in English?" I asked looking at him.

"I have an F?!" He yelled.

"Yeah." I said handing him the paper.

"No, no, no. This can't be happening. My mom is going to kill me. I won't be able to broadcast. This can't be happ-"

"Hey, calm down. With my help you're going to get your F to an A in no time." I said giving him a sincere smile.

"Aw you have braces." He said.

"Oh." I said.

"Hey don't worry I had them too." He said.

"Anyway. Your house or my house?" I asked.

"Um. My house." He said uncertainly.

"Okay. I need days I can come over and time." I said.

"You can come over Friday's, Monday's and Wednesday's. I guess you can around after school." He said.

"Okay. Tomorrow since it's Friday I'll head over at your house." I said and start picking up the papers.

"Hey Ali?" He asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Can I have your number?" He asked.

"Uh yeah let me see your phone." I said.

He handed me his phone and I handed him mine. I saved my contact as "Ali🌸(The Better One)".

I handed him his phone back and he handed me mine.

"Okay I'll see you tomorrow." I said.

"Wait you don't want a ride?" He asked.

"No it's okay." I said.

"Ali. Come on." He said.

"No Mario." I said.

"Ali." He said dragging out the "I".

"Mario." I said mimicking him.

"Come on at least this one time." He said.

"Fine. But I never agreed to this." I said.

"Yay! Let's go." He said grabbing my hand and dragging me out of the class.

We made it to his car and we got in.

"Okay. We're do you live?" He asked.

"Just drive and I'll tell you." I said.

"Okay now take a turn here. Stop at the blue house." I said.

"Okay. See you didn't die." He said.

"Yeah but you almost ran over someone." I shot back.

"Almost." He said.

"Whatever Mario." I said laughing.

"Aw you have a cute laugh." He said laughing.

"Says the one who laughs like a baby." I said.

But his laugh is cute.

"You know what's weird. I live a block down from you." He said looking down the street.

"You do? I never noticed." I said.

"Is that sarcasm?" He asked.

"No." I said.

"Ali. Tomorrow I'm giving you a ride to school." He said.

"What about Bridge-"

"Tomorrow I'm giving you a ride that's final." He said.

"Fine." I said rolling my eyes.

"I'm amazing so shut up." He said.

"No your not." I said.

"But I simply am." He said, smirking.

"Bye Mario." I said.

"Bye Ali." He said and drove off to his house.

Tomorrow is going to be...eventful.
