Ali🌸;

"Al look!" Mario yelled excitedly.

I look at the direction where he was pointing and saw a build-a-bear.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking." Mario says. "To Build-A-Bear."

He grabs my hand and starts walking to the store.

"Oh look at that one. Oh my God Al. It's an Elsa bear!" He yells.

"You and your frozen phase." I say rolling my eyes.

"I'm getting it." He says walking to the bear. "Oh it's the last one too."

"Mario are you seriously get-"

"Mommy?" A little girl around the age of 4 or 5 came up to me.

"No sweetie. Are you lost?" I ask her.

"Mommy?" She says tears filling up her eyes.

"No sweetie come here." I say lifting her up from the floor.

"Hey Al I jus-Who's that?" Mario asks.

"I don't know. I think she's lost." I tell him.

"Hey sweetheart. What's your name?" He asks her.

"M-Melissa." She stutters.

"Hi Melissa, I'm Mario." He says.

"W-Where's my mommy?" She asks.

"I don't know. Want to go find her?" He asks.

She nods her head and stretches her arms signaling him to carry her.

"Come here." He says taking her from my arms.

"So Melissa how old are you?" He asks starting a conversation with her.

She hold up 5 fingers.

"You're 5. I'm 16." He says.

"I-Is that your girlfwiend?" She asks pointing at me.

Mario🚀;

"I-Is that your girlfwiend?" She asks pointing at Ali.

"No, that's Ali she's my bestfriend." I say.

"But maybe we'll be more than that." I say whispering into her ear.

"Hi Alwi." She says waving at her.

"Hi Melissa." Ali says sending her a smile.

"Melissa where was the last time you saw your mommy?" I ask her.

"Over there." She says pointing at the Disney store.

I put Melissa down and grab her hand.

"Should he check?" I ask Ali.

"I mean why not, she can still be in there." She says.

"To the Disney store then." I say walking towards it.

As we were walking many people were giving us dirty looks. Did they think Melissa was OUR child?

We walk into the Disney store and start looking around.

We see a lady near the play section looking for someone.

"Melissa is that your mommy?" I ask pointing to the lady.

"Mommy!" She yells running towards her.

"Melissa." She says relieved as she hugs her daughter. She looks up and sees Ali and I. "Thank you so much."

"It was no problem ma'am." Ali said.

"Yeah no problem at all." I say.

"Bye Melissa." We say at the same time.

She lets go of her mom and gives us a hug. "Bye Alwi, bye Mario."

"Mario." She says signaling me to bend down. "Ask Alwi to be your girlfwiend." She whispers into my ear.

"I will." I whisper back.

She smiles and hugs us one more time.

We walk out of the store and walk to the food court.

"Well that was something." I say.

"She was adorable. I wish I had a little sister that wasn't annoying." She says laughing.

"Wait you have siblings?" I ask confused.

"Yeah, 2 little sister and 1 older brother. They live with um...my dad." She says looking down.

"Hey. Things will get better." I say sending her a sincere smile.

"I'm bored. Mario why are you so boring?" She asks.

"Me boring. Al I am so not boring." I say.

"Whatever pretty boy." She says rolling her eyes.

"And there she goes again rolling her eyes." I say laughing.

"Mario I swear to god I will hurt you." She threatens.

"Al where do you want to go now?" I ask.

"I don't know." She says.

"Wait we never had our movie night." I say.

"Movie night it is." She says with a smile.

God how I love that smile.

"To my house." I say grabbing her hand.

"Mario I'm tired." She whines.

"Okay."

"Carry me."

"No."

"Please."

"Ugh fine."

"Yay!" She yells jumping on my back.

"Incredibles, Finding Nemo, or Monster Inc.?" I ask.

"Hm. Monsters Inc." She says.

I put in the movie and sat down near Ali.

Just then her phone starts ringing. She looks at the caller ID and frowns.

I look at the caller ID and frown:

(A-Ali, D-Dad)

A: "Hello?"
D: "Where are you?"
A: "At a friends house, why?"
D: "What friend."
A: "A friend. Now why are you calling me?"
D: "Come home."
A: "How am I suppose to go home if you live in California."
D: "Ali go to your mothers house."
A: "Why should I?"
D: "Don't give me attitude. Now go to your mothers house."
A: "Ugh whatever."

I hung up and look at Mario.

"I have to go." I say. "Sorry for ditch movie night..again."

"It's fine Al." He says with a smile.

"You're way to nice Mario. I'll make it up to you tomorrow." I say.

"Hug before you leave?" He asks.

I give him a hug and immediately he hugs back.

"Bye Al." He says.

"Bye Mario." I say and walk out his room.

Now what possibly is going on?
