Ali🌸;

"Dad I'm home!" I yell as I walk inside.

"Where have you been?!" He yells.

I flinch and look at him.

"At Becca's why?" I say.

"Oh really? Well guess what Becca came over looking for you. Explain now." He says.

"I-I went to the show." I stutter.

"I specifically told you that you couldn't go." He says.

"I haven't seen Mario in 3 months!" I yell.

"Get over him!" He yells.

"No! I'm not forgetting about my bestfriend!" I yell.

"You aren't going near him!" He yells.

"Why do you hate Mario so much?! He's done nothing wrong!" I yell.

"Ali go to your room now." He sighs.

"Gladly let me just buy a ticket to Florida and go back with mom." I say.

"Upstairs now!" He yells.

I run upstairs and lock my door. Everyday it's always like this. Yelling and screaming at each other.

I look at my phone and see I have a missed call from Mario. I call him back. After two rings he answers.

"Ali? Are you okay?" He asks worriedly.

"I-I can't do this." I stutter and feel a tear run down my cheek.

"Ali what's wrong?" He asks.

"C-Can I come over please." I beg.

"Of course you can but I'm picking you up." He says.

I hear shuffling on the other line.

"Ali text me your address I'm going." He says. "Mom! I'm going to get Ali!"

I hang up and text him my address. I pull my legs up to my chest and cry.

A few minutes later I hear a knock on the door. I hear my dad open the door.

"Yes may I help you?" He asks.

"Um is Ali here." I hear Mario say.

I stand up and walk out of my room. I run down the stairs and run to the door. I see Mario and run to him.

I hugged him and he hugged back. A sob chokes out of my mouth.

"Ali it's okay." He says.

I wrapped my legs around his waist.

"Ali get away from him." My dad says.

I start crying even more.

"Sir I'm taking Ali with me. She obviously can't be near you right now." I hear him say.

I feel Mario start walking to his car. He opens the door and puts me on the passenger seat.

"N-No." I say as soon as he lets go.

"Ali it's okay. Let's get back to the hotel and get some sleep." He says calmly.

I stay quiet as more tears run down my face.

"Hey look at me." He says.

I look at him as he wipes away my tears. He smiles at me and starts the car. He kisses my forehead and starts driving. As he was driving my eyelids start closing.
