Alex's P.O.V.
I go to King's High School. When I first got there, I noticed that the boy at the coffee shop went to the same school. That made my heart soar. I didn't know what to do... he looked at me, then suddenly, I was helpless.
He was in almost all of my classes except 2: biology, and geometry.
During those periods, I was kind of down. I didn't know why until my best friends ran into me in the hallway.
"AYYYYYE! ALEX, MY MAN!" one of the guys, Hercules Mulligan, said to me. His tall, dark features became clearer to me as I walked closer to him.
"Ahh, Mon Ami! Long time, no see!" Lafayette came at me with open arms, expecting a hug, I guess. "Laf, it's been 10 minutes since I last saw you." I replied causing the 3 of us to chuckle. I hugged him back.
He seemed overjoyed by my action. Hercules, watching us, seemed to tense up as a small frown appeared on his face.
Then, Coffeshop Boy that I had seen the day before walked over to our little group.
"Hey! Didn't I see you yesterday? I'm John Laurens, by the way. You're... Alexander, right?" Coffeeshop Boy asked. I blushed.
"Y-yeah...." I stammered. "That's me. I'm Alex." "Cool. Hey since you and I both have 2nd period together, do you wanna walk to class?" He said. "Sure!" I replied with a huge grin on my face. Hercules and Lafayette looked at me with smirks on their faces.
I blushed, turning to the 2, and making a face at them. I turned back around to John with a small grin on my face. "Let's go!" I said happily. He nodded in response, and we started to walk to class.
