Chapter 25

Coraline-

Today is my last day at Vinnys place and now I'm going back home.

I'm gonna miss him and Chris alot but I'm pretty sure that they'll call me 24/7 like the rest of the guys do.

Vinny took me home and got to meet my cat. "That is my beautiful cat Macie"
I picked her up and she purred

I never noticed how much I missed my small little apartment. Vinny said that Chris was gonna comeover later . Vinny seemed a little stiff and I just shrugged it off because I thought it was because I was leaving.

It was getting quiet and awkward so I broke the silence by telling him some news I got a few days ago and I thought it was the perfect time to tell him.

"So Vin , I have some news."

"Oh god are you pregnant ?"
He looked so scared

"Uh no.."

"Oh good."

"Anyway. I got a call from someone and told me that they would like me to do a big photoshoot in New York."

"That's great."

"Yea and it's in a few months, for 2 weeks"

"Oh that's amazing"

"I also get 1 extra ticket."
His eyes went wide and then he smiled
"Are you gonna ask me to go with you?"
I thought I'd mess with him a bit.
"Uhm.. This is awkward.. I was gonna ask
if you could take care of Macie.."
His smile dropped. "Oh.. Uhm that's, ya okay cool"

"Im literally fucking with you"
I died of laughter "of course I'm asking you to go." Vinny smiled. "Good."

He stayed for a few more hours and then he decided to leave. "I guess I have to go.. I have to get up early tomorrow.."

"Okay.." I really didn't want him to leave.
"I'll see you in 3 weeks." He smiled reassuringly. "That's too long!" I whined.

I gave him a long hug. I almost cried. I really was gonna miss him. I kissed him for the 100th time. We said our goodbyes and he walked out the door.

Once he left I decided to get my mind of being a depressing little shit and do some baking. I baked some sugar cookies. After about 20 minutes Chris texted saying he was 10 minutes away. So I used those 10 minutes to finish an episode of Greys anatomy.

It was only 5:30 so I had assumed Chris hasn't eaten anything. So I ordered some pizza.

My doorbell rang so I answered it.
"Hey! Feels like I haven't seen you in years!" I laughed giving him a hug.

"Doesn't it?!"
He walked in.
He went and pet Macie.

"Yup. Have you eaten anything?"
"No, actually I am starving"
"Good, I ordered pizza"
"Oh great!"

We sat and ate pizza. Which was relaxing.

"Can I keep your cat?"

"No! She's my only friend.."
I laughed

"Aw"

"So are you guys gonna get a place together?"

"I don't know.. We haven't talked about that."

"Oh . Well you might have to bring it up, he doesn't like talking about big stuff like that."

"Then I shall. When I'm ready."

"Oh god you sound exactly like him!"
He laughed

"Shut up. Watch the hockey game."

"There's a hockey game and I wasn't informed about it!?!?"

He turned the tv on and searched frantically.
"I was joking."

"Oh. Oh shit it's late I have to go."

"Alrighty. I'll be at Vinny's in a few weeks. So maybe we'll stop by."

"Sounds good dude."

We hugged goodbye and I walked Chris to his car.

"Oh Cora you have a nice small apartment by the way. Next time I come over I'm stealing your cat."

"Goodbye Chris"
I laughed

"See ya"
He hopped into his car and drove off.
