Chapter 35

Coraline-

I set an alarm for 8:00 which was really early but I had stuff planned for today.

I got up making sure not to wake Vinny up and I snuck into the bathroom. I took a quick shower out some clothes on and then I did my makeup, I took about an hour or so.

I woke Vinny up and he got ready in about 20 minutes. Then he tried to go back to sleep.
"No you need to stay up. Sleep on the plane later."

I made some coffee to wake us up a little.
"Now let's go on an adventure!"

"Where are we going?"
Vinny asked as he yawned
"That's for me to know and you to find out."
He stared at me
"The aquarium"

My smile quickly faded
"How the fuck did you know??"

"The directions on your phone."
He said pointing at my phone.

"Ugh well i have another surprise there so ha!"

We got a taxi and went to the aquarium.

It was pretty cool actually. We saw fish and turtles and other sea creatures.
Here was where my surprise comes up.

"Follow me!"
We went to the penguin exibit and saw some penguins.

"Oh my god."

"What?"

"We're petting some penguins aren't we?"

"Yup we sure are!"

He kissed my nose and held my hand as we walked into the penguin exibit. I paid $80 but it was worth it. We were told some rules and whatever then the penguins came out. They were so fucking adorable I couldn't even breathe.

I walked over and pet one gently on its neck. "Vinny- oh my god" I laughed as he was being followed by some penguins.

Then they let baby chicks out and oh my they were so tiny!

Vinnys eyes widened as all the baby penguins came flying toward me.

"They like you.."
He laughed

I started petting them all and holding some.
"Gosh I want some love too."
He said sarcastically

One little penguin waddled slowly toward Vinny as if they understood what he said.

"Aw he's so cute"
He picked it up.
"I feel loved now."
We all laughed. The zoo keepers had said that our time was up because it is time for them to eat. So we left.
We spent about 2 hours in there and it was a blast.

"Now what?"

"I don't know I'm really hungry though"

"Then we're off to eat"

We ate and did some other stuff. It was 5:30 and was now time to head back home.

"That was fun."
I smiled

"Yes it was!"
We boarded the plane and sat quietly.

I looked out the window and stared at the darkness. Vinny fell asleep. I was listening to Muse when I started dosing off. Until finally I had fallen asleep too.
