"Are we in a rainforest?!"
Vinny asked losing his shit.
"That's fucking amazing! IT WAS SO CLOSE BY" His eyes were filled with excitement. "How do you do that?!" He asked looking at me. I was confused. "Uh what?"
"This! You literally start walking and you end up in the best places. Like the one place back home. Also when we were in New York. Like how do you do that?!"
"I-I don't really know.. I've never thought about it. I kind of just get really adventurous and then I pull someone with me and they follow me.. then stuff like this happens... when I was smaller 13-15 I had this little game where I'd sneak out and I would walk. Just walk around until I found a place I liked. I guess I do that now and I find nice places.."
"It's like a gift! And you need to share it."
He said grabbing my shoulders. I smiled and he smiled. He leaned in slow. I leaned in, closing the gap. Our lips collided and I wrapped my arms around his neck while he wrapped his hands around my waist. He made me feel safe. In his arms I felt safe. When we pulled apart to catch our breath his phone rang.
"Ugh. Hello? Chris?? Ok Ok I'm going."
He hung up.
"Chris said we need to go to the bus because theres food and if we don't then he's gonna kill us."
"One Problem.."
I said looking around
"What is that?!"
We looked to see a snake.
"Aw fuck."
"I'm lost AND there's a snake and we don't know if it's poisonous."
"YOUR LOST?!"
"Maybe.. let's go before this snake kills us."
"HOW ARE YOU LOST?!"
He was freaking out.
"VINNY I DONT LIVE HERE HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHERE TO GO?! YOU NEED TO CHILL"
I grabbed my phone and started taking pictures of the plants. I didn't have service but it didn't mean I couldn't take pictures.
"ARE YOU SERIOUSLY TAKING PICTURES RIGHT NOW?!"
"Vinny, you need to fucking chill. You are gonna be okay. Let's just make the best out of this little situation."
He calmed down a bit.
"Okay you're right.."
"Good. Now let's just turn and walk this way. It's where we came from."
"This is gonna be a long day."
