Captain Kirk has always had a thing for the ladies. Becoming the captain of the finest ship in the Earth starship fleet has gotten him plenty of opportunities to have much anyone he wants. Yet, he has this infatuation with you.
You're a doctor that works under his best friend, Bones. You never quite understood why he kept getting hurt until Bones said, "You do know that he asked me to punch him so he could see you again, right?"
"Eager to help him, Doctor?"
Doctor McCoy just smirked. "Well, yeah. He's my friend. Can't just let him wallow in his despair, now can I?"
You shrugged it off at the time, but now it seems that Bones might've been onto something. Kirk comes in the next day, still complaining about his jaw and how it stings. "It's turning purple," he says, hopping up to the Med Bay paitent chair. "Is it supposed to turn purple?"
You use your scanner to check on the bruise, not looking him in the eye. "Well, Captain, you did get punched. How did that happen, by the way?"
He shrugs. "Bones doesn't always agree with all of my calls."
You roll your eyes. "Alright. Whatever you say, Captain."
"Please, call me Jim."
You look into his cerulean blue eyes and smile back. "Alright, Jim. Your bruise is fine. I'll give you a pain reliever, but there isn't much I can do besides tell you to wait it out." You watched him hop down and handed him his pills. "Maybe next time you should think twice before asking Bones to hit you so you can see me. Asking me out after my shift ends is much easier and less painful."
You walk away with a smirk as Kirk turns red and stutters over his words.
