Everything happened so fast.

Then as if time answered our prayers for everything to slow down. It did.

The oni's sword cut threw her just like a needle being pressed into a ball that you kept your sewing needles in. The look of her pale face is one I'll never forget for as long as I live. A look of surprise mixed with fear into her wide Doe eyes. Everything froze.
Like the whole world stopped to see the beautiful huntress fall to her death. I remember I couldn't move. The oni I was fighting could've done the same to me, kill me just like her. But it didn't it's almost as if it knew the pain and sadness I felt would be more painful then my own death ever would be.
I stopped fighting to see my best friend, my sister fall into the arms of her first love, the boy she would've always loved. She was talking to him as she slowly met the blackness that would last her a lifetime. I still couldn't move. I stared, I felt tears running down my face. But I couldn't move because my mind had been put into auto pilot.
I knew there was no use in getting help. I knew it. So when the thought about speaking to her one last time came to mind, it was like my feet became unglued to my spot and dropped my weapons. I ran to them, but I was to late. Her hand dropped to the ground and as she took her last breath. A scream that could be heard over the breaking of all of our hearts was heard. "ALISON!"

*whoah not even the first chapters and I made myself cry oops* R.I.P Allison Argent.
