One snowy night in the December of 2013, a miracle was to happen. Not only that but it was Christmas Eve and just about to strike midnight. It was in a small alleyway in the middle of London when it occurred.

The large tower known as Big Ben began to chime to signify Christmas Day was finally here. All the children where fast asleep dreaming sweet dreams of all the presents they were to recieve that very day and many other things that they could desire with their big imaginations and big hearts filled with curiosity and happiness that could last a life time.

This miracle began to take place in one of the most unexpected places for one miracle to happen. It took place between a little sweet café and a salon in the alleyway separating the two establishments.

The café was homely and welcomed everyone and fed the less fortunate people and animals.

A pale yellow was the colour of the sign that read "the cosy coffee" in big bold letters. The outside was painted a warm welcoming baby blue colour with little, colourful, metal chairs outside that accompanied the light pink metal tables. In front of the door was a chalk board with a cupcake designed on it with a variety of chalks. The chalk board also had all the specials, best offers, recommended food and drinks and customer favourites. On the inside; the walls were painted a cyan colour. Booths were pushed to the sides of the café. The booths were striped sofas with polished wooden tables that caught the eye from across the street. In a way it was a mix of a traditional American café with a modern twist to it. At the back of the café was a grand counter with a cashier that stood proudly on top. On this counter held sweets and treats to delight the eye. Cakes that could feed an army and cupcakes to please the little children sat comfortably on the counter top. Behind the counter was an ice cream freezer with a variety of ice creams and ice pops out on display in the summer. In the winter, however, the freezer would be stored away in the back and in it's place would be a coffee machine, hot chocolate maker and a kettle to warm people up after the weather that loomed outside like this weather that stands this Christmas Day in the early morning weather. Above it would be yet another chalk board surrounded by fairy lights that lit up in rainbow order. This board held the answers to all your food desires ranging from sandwiches to hot meals. The menu was designed with bright neon colours. All in all the cosy coffee café was as bright as a rainbow after a strong thunderstorm and then having the sun shine brighter than it ever had before.

On the other hand the salon next to it despised of the café's actions and style. The salon was completely black on the outside. A gold sign stood proudly above the doorframe that read "the golden hair". The gold contrasted the black of the shop really well which made the sign pop out from even a far. The inside of it was decorated head to toe in beautifully fancy items that looked like they could belong in the royal palace which went by the name of Buckingham palace. Mirrors that lined the shop's walls reflected off each other creating an ever lasting reflection. The mirrors were lined with a metal coated in a royal blue colour. The royal blue of the frames went quite nicely with the pearly white walls of this place. Black seats fit for a queen sat in front of each and every mirror. This seemingly fancy and nice place wasn't all as it seemed. After all you don't judge a book by it's cover do you?

The people who worked there were... Well there's no other way to put it other than a bit stuck up. This is because the family who owned the establishment earned a lot of money from their outrageous prices and they knew it. They acted as if they earned nothing from their shop to tempt people to pay a little more for their hair cut. Essentially they took the advantage of the kindness in people and used it against them to get more money.  The café next door totally disagreed with their actions and had tried to call the police on them many a times before but to their disappointment the salon would always manage to slid their way out of it every time just like a slippery bar of soap.

Despite the feud between the two businesses, a dog lived between the two in the alleyway that separated them. The dog had been called bond after the famous James Bond. The reason this dog had been given the name bond was because she was an escape artist and could go anywhere in the dead of night without anyone knowing thanks to her jet black fur. The café had many a times tried to call dogs trust to come get her but she escaped every time. Eventually they gave in and instead looked after bond by giving her food, water and blankets.

Bond was a husky with white fur on her stomach and chest and with black fur covering the rest of her. Her eyes were a beautiful contrast of blue and green that made the perfect shade of cyan. Her ears were always perked up, ready to hear any dangers that may come about. Her great paws would pad around her territory proudly. She would growl at any passer by.

But on this particular night bond was protective and careful as her beautiful puppies were greeted to the world. The last puppy was born the second the huge clock tower struck midnight. All together 6 puppies were brought to the world. 3 boys and 3 girls were born and the last puppy was the smallest and was the youngest. No one saw what happened there on the most magical day of the year.
