Chase POV
I was hanging there, unsure of how long I was there for, but I knew I was close to death. It was hovering over my head like a raincloud, threatening to strike at any moment. I had resorted to pacing my breathing, no longer talking. Blood dripped down my face, it was my only source of "water", the only way I could keep myself hydrated. It was gross, but I was alive. And that was all that mattered at the moment. Mr. Davenport suddenly jumped up and shouted gleefully, "I did it! I finally tracked him! Chase we are coming!" I couldn't believe my ears! I was saved, I was pretty sure I was dreaming. Maybe I finally did die, and this was heaven. If it was, I didn't care.
Adam and Bree rushed out of the room.
In no time at all the warehouse door busted open, I grinned, even though it hurt like Hades. Adam ran over to me and busted the chains, and caught me. I laughed breathlessly, "you...you, saved me.." I muttered. Adam nodded. "We will always save you, Chasey. We are family. That's what we do." He whispered. I felt my heart get warm, but maybe I was getting a fever. I smiled, then my eyes rolled to the back of my head, and I was out.
