Grace's POV
Hi my name is Grace Krum and I'm 12 years old. I am the only girl at Dumstrang Academy where my brother Viktor Krum goes. This year I get to go to Hogwarts school of Witch Craft and Wizardry with my brother. He's going to compete to be the Dumstrang champion.
I'm so excited. He doesn't want any of the Hogwarts boys to see me so he so he doesn't want me to preform, but Headmaster Karkaroff tells him I have to. So he's just going to keep an eye on me. It's almost time to board the ship and I can't wait! Viktor says to come on or they'll leave me here. I know that's not true because he had to do a lot of bargaining with Headmaster Karkaroff to let me come, but I better hurry up anyway.
On the ship there are several rooms each holding comfortably one hundred students. But sense we are only taking roughly 60 students there is an almost empty room. I drag Viktor in there. I'm not shy but I don't like people only hanging out with me for my brother so I stick to a few close friends, mainly people who where my friend before Viktor hit it big. Unfortunately non of them could come because they're all second years just like me.
So I'll be sticking with Viktor and his close friends this year. First there's Axel. He's taller then Viktor but not by much. He's kinda funny but be careful or he will talk your ear off.
Then you have Braxton. He's a bit shorter then Viktor. He's really smart but I doubt you'll hear him say anything. He's extremely quite.
Lastly you have Chadwick. He's the same height as Viktor. He's very protective of me and he talks some but not an earful.
Then you have my brother Viktor. He talks a lot but only around people he trusts. He use to be more talkative but then he got onto the Bulgarian quitage team. He doesn't want anything to get out to the press.
The problem with hanging out with seventh years is they all want to be the Dumstrang champion and they won't shut up about it. Honestly I don't want Viktor to compete because I don't want him to die.
We finally got to Hogwarts without a single fist fight on the whole entire boat what so ever. This is huge. It may not sound that big of a deal but I pretty sure it's a school record. The Dumstrang boys love to fight, especially the older ones.
Every thing works out okay until we get there and it's raining. This in its self isn't a problem but Viktor sneezed and Headmaster Karkaroff went crazy. He obviously thinks Viktor is his strongest chance at winning. I agree but I'd rather have him catch a small fever and not be allowed to compete then compete and die.
So we get there without Viktor melting and as soon as we hear their headmaster say 'welcome the proud sons and daughter of Dumstrang' we go out. The boys start pounding there sticks on the floor while Viktor waits to come in at the end. I bang one of the sticks on the ground until we reach the front of the room. Then I do three flips and land in a cartwheel which I stick.
Everyone claps supper loudly and I see a boy with platinum blonde hair sitting at a table filled with people dressed in green staring at me. He's kind of cute but I know the drill. He wants to hang out with Viktor so he's trying to gain my trust. Well it's not going to work. I also see a red hair boy sitting at a table full of people wearing red staring at Viktor in admiration. Note to self stay away from him.
We go and sit at a table full of people in yellow. I turn to the girl next to me and ask "why are you all separated by color?"
"They stand for the different houses. Red is Gryffindor; blue is Ravenclaw; green is Slytherin; yellow is Hufflepuff." The girl tells me.
"Thank you. Oh I'm Grace by the way." I tell her figuring that even though I don't plan on making friends I should still introduce myself.
   "Hi. I'm Nicole." She replies.
Victors smiling at me and I can tell what he was thinking.
"I didn't come here to make friends. I came here to make sure you don't get killed." I tell him in Bulgarian.
"I won't get killed and Nicole seems nice." He replied in, of course, our native tongue.
"The key word being seems. You can't judge a book by the cover. I thought we learned this after that boy snuck into your dorm to steal your socks." I said in Bulgarian.
"That is very unlikely to repeat, Grace. We also learned you can't judge one person off of another when that boy was the only one who didn't want an autograph but was trying to return my wallet. Remember?"
I sigh. "Why do we learn so much from the crazy people who stock you?" I ask him trying to change the subject.
He just laughs and says, "Try to make some friends this year, okay?" The rest of dinners carries on very uneventfully.
When we're dismissed to go to the Hufflepuff common room and dorms Headmaster Karkaroff asks me and Victor to stay. The Hogwarts Headmaster, Professor Dumbledore, asks Harry Potter to stay as well. Oh I can't stand celebrities, except for my brother, they're all so shallow.
