(Myca's Point of View)
The food that they had was awful, but I ate all of it because if I didn't, they would force it down my throat. After eating, Dr. Quinzel sat a glass of water on the table. The water looked murky and unpleasant, but I needed something to drink. The water was gross and tasted like dust.
Dr. Quinzel left the room only to come back minutes later to tell me Eddy has come to visit again. Eddy walked in the room and sat in his usual spot in the room, in the uncomfortable armchair next to my cot.
"I have something to tell you. When someone is deemed 'mentally unfit' they're treated at Williams Medical Center. If the patient is too dangerous to be treated there, only then do they move the patient to Arkham." I was utterly confused. I've never heard of such a place and if I was there, I had no recollection of it.
"They sent me straight here from what I can remember."
"Exactly. So they placed you in the asylum unjustly. I'm going to have a talk with Dr. Crane and sort this out. You shouldn't be in here."
"You should've been here yesterday when Crane was asking me questions. Its like he was purposely trying to get me in trouble rather than help me 'get better.'"
"Really? He should be treating you, not interrogating you. I'm going to talk to him right now," Eddy said as he knocked on the door and Dr. Quinzel was standing right there.

I walk down the hallway to pay Myca an early visit when I hear a man's voice. The man was talking to the intern. He sees me and rushes toward me.
"Dr. Crane?"
"Yes, how can I help you?"
"I'm Eddy Waverly, Myca's Cousin. I want to talk to you privately about her placement in Arkham."
"Of course. Miss Vlasca mentions you a lot. Why don't we step into my office and we'll talk," I walk toward my office and Eddy's footsteps followed.
We both walk in. I offer Eddy a seat and I shut the door. I take a seat in my chair and just glare at Eddy.
"Now, what seems to be the trouble with Myca's placement?"
"The trouble is Myca shouldn't even be here."
"Why do you say that?"
"She was never treated at Williams Medical Center before coming here."
"And how may I ask did you acquire this information?"
"Does it matter? All I know is, you sent my cousin to your asylum without cause. There was no record of her staying there for any length of time. The people there never even heard of her. Explain that to me."
"The severity of her crime wound her up here first. I can determine on whether or not a person is criminally insane, Mr. Waverly."
"You can't do that! My sweet little cousin doesn't belong in a hell hole full of rapists and murderers who I might add, escape frequently! You have no idea what kind of danger you put her in!" I lift out of the chair and walked to the window. I look out, then turn back to Eddy.
"Well, your 'sweet little cousin' was involved in a robbery, then murdered a police officer who was trying to subdue her. She ran away to the home of an accomplice where she then tried to kill herself by slitting her wrists. Does that sound like someone who is sweet? You say I put her in danger. She is a danger to herself as well as the people around her."
"You still didn't put her in the proper institute. She should went to the medical center first before coming here."
"There was no need to send her to the medical center and even if I did, they would have sent her here anyway and in a heartbeat. She needs to be treated here. End of discussion." Eddy storms out of the office and slams the door on the way out of the building. I reach for my phone and call Carmine.
"Eddy just left the institute. One of your men should see him walking around the corner any second now."
"You still want to go through with this?"
"Yes. Eddy cannot get in the way of my plans to keep Myca my patient. He found out that we sent her straight here instead of Williams."
He says he sees him.
"Don't let him make a scene, Mr. Falcone. I don't want Myca to know."
"Don't worry about it. It'll be clean and quick. No one will even know. I got to go," he hangs up instantly. I look out the window to see if I could see Mr. Waverly, but he's too far from my sights.
I found out last night that Myca is immune to my fear toxin. I might have to make a stronger dose because there might be other people in Gotham that has immunity. I need her blood to make an antidote. That's why I can't let people like Edmund Waverly in my way.

I lay there on my cot wondering how it went with Eddy and Dr. Crane. I hope I can get out of here. I'd rather be at that medical center than in Arkham or Blackgate for that matter. I look at the clock and its almost time for Dr. Crane to visit me again.
I then felt really sleepy. The dusty taste of that water was still parading in my mouth. I hear the creak of the door and footsteps creeping to my bedside.
"How are you today, Miss Vlasca?"
"I'm very sleepy and I still want a cigarette. Can you even get them here?"
"I'm afraid not. We're not that kind of rehabilitation unit." I could barely keep my eyes open. My words started to slur with exhaustion.
"What did you and Eddy talk about? Can I be released from here?"
"I'm sorry to say, that this is where you're supposed to be. You treatment will continue here, I'm afraid." I felt tears running down my face. I couldn't tell if it was from the sad truth that I won't be leaving and that I will remain here or from yawning so much.
"Tell you what, I'll let you sleep for now and I'll come back when you're awake. Sound good?"
"Sleep sounds wonderful right about now. Thank you," I said instantly drifting to sleep.
