I heard talking. I was halfway asleep and couldn't make out anything. I got up brushed my teeth and went downstairs to get breakfast when I see a bunch of people in my living room. They had all kinds of things. Clothes, jewelry, shoes, handbags, anything and everything they had it. I just stood there staring when a tall blonde girls walks up to me with a clip board.

" Hi I'm Celeste, I'll be your consultant until you reach the castle. Theres already a bunch of paparazzi outside waiting for you so let's make you look even more beautiful, and wow them. First impression are important." She smiled at me and I smiled back. She seemed like she genuinely wanted to help me so I followed her to the kitchen where they set up a hair and makeup station.

I sit there and listen to the girls talk about the other contestants. Apparently some girls even went far enough to get plastic surgery before they meet the prince. That's very odd to me, if the prince finds his mate then it doesn't matter how pretty you are he won't leave her. That's what I'd like to think at least, rejecting someone because they aren't pretty or of a high status seems pretty selfish after all the Moon-goddess gives you your perfect match.

"He's a Royal though he can reject his mate and have anyone he wants." Rose pointed out I let out a deep breath. That hurt me more than I thought it would.

If he doesn't find his mate I would hate to think he would pick out our queen and Luna based on her looks and not her intelligence, but I guess that's just me. The girls pull me away from my thoughts when they say they are done. I look up and I'm surprised at how pretty I look.

My shoulder length black hair was curled, and my eye makeup brings out my grey eyes. They didn't cover my freckles like I thought they would they just made me look refreshed and new.

"Damn we look smokin hot" Rose commented and I laughed

"Yes we do" I said to her.

I felt someone tap me on the shoulder, it was Celeste and she told me to pick out my outfit from the racks in the living room.

I went in there and started looking around there were dresses, pants, tops, shorts, skirts. I decided on this cute yellow sundress that went just above my knees, it had little puff selves, and an open back with a bow on my lower back. I paired it with cute white wedged heels When I was done getting ready I turned to say goodbye to my family. Jackson came running up to me.

"Here wear this when you're gone so you don't forget me." He says while he hands me a box. I open it to see a simple bracelet with a J on it. It was beautiful.

"Where did you get this?" I asked hoping he didn't spend any money on it.

"The lady over there asked if we needed anything and I asked her if i could give you something and she let me pick out whatever I wanted from a big box full of shiny things." He smile and I could see his little dimples. I glanced over to the girl he was pointing at and saw Celeste. She saw me looking at her and winked at me.

"I think I'm going to cry." I could feel Roses eyes start to water

"No don't or else I'll start crying too" I said

I smiled and hugged him goodbye. I said goodbye to my parents and went out the door to be swarmed with flashing lights and people yelling at me. They asked me things like "what would you do for the country?" And " what's your opinion on security control?" Celeste just took my arm and led me to the limo that was parked outside my house. Once we got inside I laid my head on the seat.

"It will be about four hours before we reach the castle" the driver said I just nodded and put my music on. I could feel myself drifting off to sleep as I laid my head down on the headrest.
