"It's roll call again... I got everyone in their tent for tonight... now am I missing anyone...?"

You looked at your piece of paper to check off if everyone and even the couples when to bed. The list looked complete, until you saw Gaius wasn't checked. You groaned and ran your hand over your face. You couldn't stand the mess of Gaius's tent and asked Chrom if check his tent for you while you did the others. You knew you were forgetting something, but didn't think anything this important.

"Why me..." You sighed to yourself as you made your way down to the candy lover man's tent.

It wasn't that the smell of sugar and sweets got too you, it was the mess of candy and clothes inside that threw you off. You never knew a person could be so mess in their life. You came to the tent as the candle inside burned brightly inside.

"Maybe he cleaned up his tent liked I asked him too..." You said before entering the tent.

Gaius looked up from sucking on his sucker. "Hey bubbles, glad your here."

Your eyes widen at the sight. It was messier than before... "H-how... do you live in this tent?!"

"It's full of candy, duh."

You rolled your eyes and stepped your way inside, flinching at the crunching of candy while coming face to face at him. "Gaius, I asked you to clean up this tent!"

"I know, but I've been putting it off and been bribing Chrom with candy to keep quiet about it."

"He wouldn't eat candy but will only do it for Lissa! You're a mean person Gaius!"

"How am I mean? I'm giving the man candy for his sister while I get to keep my tent messy with candy. Done deal."

"Well you better clean up this mess or I'll make you!"

Gaius sighed as he got up from the ground and sat down on his make shifted wooden bed, looking tired in the eye while opening up his sack full of candy. "The only reason I'm taking more candy than usual is because I'm giving it to the poorer kids around villages and poor areas in castle town."

"O-Oh..." Complete shock when over you, this was new. "I see... If this is true... then you can continue what you were doing..."

Gaius smirked as he took the sucker out of his mouth, making a loud pop. "Thanks bubbles."

"Quit calling me that!"

"Awww but why? I think it makes a cute nick name for someone as sweet as you for understanding."

Blood rush to your cheeks as they were candy apple red. "C-Cute? You think I'm cute?"

"Cuter than a sweet gummy bear. Now if you want I could give you some of the candy if you want."

"O-Okay." A smile ran across your face. "I would like that."

"But first, you have to give me a kiss."

The smile disappeared. "Huh? A kiss?"

"Yeah a kiss. I just don't give these away without a cost. Chrom gives me a little bit of gold, and you can give me a kiss."

"O-okay then..." 'This better be worth it!'

"This is one sweet deal~" Gaius said as he pulled you in and started kissing you gently. His lips tasted sweet with different kind of candy all over. You hummed and leaned in to taste more of his lips, but he pulled away too soon, leaving you pouting inside.

"Thanks for the kiss bubbles~ I'll sleep sweet tonight in Candy Land now~" He said as he gently pushed you out of his tent, the light from the candy inside going out.

You giggled to yourself as you when to your tent, which was only right next to his. Then you just realized, you didn't get your candy.
