Pleaseee forgive me if Donnel began to talk normally my dyslexic was getting confused with what he was saying in his farmer voice.

Honestly everything was a quiet morning. People, even Sully, weren't up yet so you could look out over the hill you wanted to see for yourself so badly. So you put on your favorite coat and when up to it. The sun was beginning to poke just above the horizon making a purplish along with orangish and reddish color to it.

It was beautiful to take your breath away, but another sound to make you jump almost out of your sound. Donnel was right behind you with his usual farmer clothes on. He whistled and made you jump suddenly. He smiled once he saw you.

"(y/n)! I didn't think a gal like you would be up at the creak of dawn."

You nodded and look towards the sun again. "Well I figured the ones who get up early get the best view."

Donnel nodded and sat down next you, fixing the pot on his head. "I never seen anything like this back at the farm. Maybe because we had flat land!"

"That makes sense. I'm glad there is some beauty in this land with undead monster running around."

"I swear to ya miss (y/n), I'll make sure to stab every one of them just for you!"

A faint tint of pink blushed over your cheeks. "In a way that was strangely sweet."

Donnel's own cheeks began to brighten, "R-Really? W-why I could hog tie a boar just for you! Roast that sucker over the flames!"

The sound of meat processed as beat meat to you. The smell, the taste, the blood inside it was just mouthwatering. "Hmmmm... bear meat..."

"Pardon?" Donnel question, "Beat meat? Hmmm... I don't think I've had bear meat. What it taste like?"

With bright eyes you described to him what bear meat tasted like. His eyes began to beg for that meat himself. He got up and began look at the forest nearby. "Say, I bet there are bears inside their. I'm gonna hunt for one!"

"Really?" You asked surprised.

"That bear meat sounds delicious! Make in my stomach rumble. Stay here and wait for me!"

He picked up his lance and went inside the forest. Something processed inside your mind. He was going in with just a lance and not any animal traps. Maybe he would be fine...?

"I'VE DONE IT!" Donnel shouted while dragging a beat behind with a net. He was clean which didn't make any sense but you didn't question it.

"Oh wow Donnel... I can't believe you kill his beat just by yourself."

"Because I did it all for you, I mean-" He broke off lost for words.

A huge blush when over your cheeks. "D-Donnel... are you saying you like me?"

He nodded slowly while putting down the net. "Y-Yes. I-I look out for the sun, just like you do! Y-you're also really pretty too..."

A giggle escaped your throat. "You're so cute when you blush like that."

He blushed more when he took your hand. "(y/n) will you marry me? I can't live without you!"

"Ummmm..." You questioned. You liked Donnel but this was going too fast, "But-"

"I promise to do the laundry and cleaning, all you need to do is eating and sleep! We don't have to get married right away, but all I ask is your love."

"Alright," You side determined, "I accept your offer."

"Hee-Haw! I've done it!" He grabbed your hands and bowed on one knee. "I love ya, I don't reckon I can live without ya! Let you and me settled down on a farm!"

You giggled and kissed his forehead. "I would enjoy that after the war."

In celebration Donnel cooked bare meat for everyone in camp. They all loved it, but Fredrick.
