The sound of sniffles and the soft padding of little feet could be heard within the halls of Fox's household. A little girl about seven with blonde hair and watery blue eyes just arrived at her father's bedroom door. *Knock* *Knock* "Daddy?" The little girl asked. A few moments passed without a reply, the little girl turned around about to go back to her room, then she heard the padding of feet in her father's room. She turned around and looked at the door, which now was open. "Katleyn? What are you doing up?" Foxy asked, looking down at his daughter. "I-I h-had a n-nightmare." Katleyn said, in between sobs. Foxy scooped the child into his arms and gently rocked her back and forth. "Ssshhh it's okay. Do you wanna talk about it?" He asked, rubbing her back. Katleyn just nodded. Foxy closed his door and walked back over to his bed. He set the child down then sat next to her. "I-I dreamed t-that s-some bad people k-killed you." Katleyn said, starting to cry even more. Foxy wrapped Katleyn in his arms once more and said, "Shh it's okay. See I'm not dead I'm still alive. It was only a dream." He said, slightly rocking back and forth. Katleyn calmed down until her sobs were only occasional sniffles. "D-daddy can I stay with you tonight?" Katleyn asked looking up into her daddy's eyes. "Of course you can Katleyn. Don't worry about those nightmares I'll protect you from them." Foxy said, lying down with his daughter. He pulled the blanket over her. "I love you daddy." Katleyn said drifting off into sleep. "I love you too, Katleyn." Foxy said, kissing the top of his daughter's head.
And Katleyn didn't have another nightmare that night, because her daddy was protecting her the whole night.
