Ryan's P.O.V.

It's been two years since I stumbled upon the orphanage. It's been two amazing years with Chloe, and in two more we'll both be old enough to leave the orphanage and start our own life. Natalie has almost completely given up on trying to get me to leave Chloe for her. Now that I'm 16 I've finally had my first wolf transformation. My wolf's name is Rocky. Rocky was super excited to find that we had already found our mate. "Ryan hurry up or we're going to be late." Chloe said putting her hair in a high ponytail.

"Yes dear." I said jokingly as I fixed my hair. She rolled her eyes and started putting on a light shade of lipstick. "Why do you put that stuff on? You look amazing without all that makeup on." I asked/said looking at her.

"I just want to make a good impression on the Wolf Council so they can remove the Vampire mate law thing." She replied as she put mascara on. I rolled my eyes.

'Man is she always like this?' Rocky asked me.

'Afraid so. Sorry Rocky.' I replied.

'Can I take over for a bit?' He asked.

'Will you behave?' I asked him.

'Yes. I promise I'll behave.' He replied.

'Ok but only for a little bit, and no marking till she says she wants to. Understood?' I said/asked him.

'Yes sir.' He replied.

'Ok then.' I said as I let Rocky take control.

Rocky's P.O.V.

I was glad to be in control even if it's just for a short time. I walked behind Chloe and hugged her from behind. I smelled her hair and she giggled. "Hello to you to Rocky." She said with a smile.

"How'd you know it was me?" I asked her with a grin.

She turned around. "Because Ryan would never sniff my hair like a creep, and your eyes are black." She replied.

I smiled and kissed her cheek. "I'm going to let Ryan back in control so you guys can get going." I told her. She kissed my (well both mine and Ryan's) cheek.

"Ok Rocky. I'll see you later." She said. I let Ryan take over and smiled to myself.

'Told you I could behave.' I told him. He then blocked me out. 'How rude.' I said to no one in particular.

Ryan's P.O.V.

Chloe and I snuck out of the orphanage and ran into the woods behind it. We started walking once we were a good distance away from it. "HALT!" Someone shouted. "WHO GOES THERE?" They asked.

"Ryan McCartan of the deceased Moon Blood pack." I replied strongly and confidently standing up straight and gripping Chloe's hand tightly.

"Ah you brought your 'mate' with you as well. Pretty little thing isn't she." The person said in what could only be described as a mocking tone. Chloe clung to my arm tightly. "But I'm not seeing a mark on her. Very very strange." The person kept taunting. "Dose the poor thing even want you as a mate?" They asked.

"Yes she does. I've given her many chances to reject me and she hasn't done it, AND I'm waiting till she tells me she's ready for me to mark her." I said still trying to sound confident. I smelt the air an found a sent I remember for when I was just a pup. "Ali is that you?" I asked.

"Took you long enough to figure it out........little brother." She said coming out from behind a tree.

"I thought you were killed when the enemy pack had attacked." I said as I hugged me sister.

"I was he only one besides you who survived." She said as we pulled away. I ran ahead of you and I thought you were fallowing me. When I looked back you were gone. I turned into my wolf and let her take over to try to find you. The last trace of your sent was by the river so we thought you were swept away and had drowned." She said.

"Ali I thought you were cought by Petronella the vampire queen." I said and I felt Chloe tence up. Crap. "Chloe you alright?" I asked her.

"Ya it's just that........Petronella was killed 8 years ago." She said.

"How do you know that?" Alison asked giving Chloe a death glare.

"Because.........she was my mother, and she was killed right I front of me......by wolves like you." She said and tears went down her face.

"Chloe I'm so sorry I didn't know." Alison said hugging her.

"I'm extremely sorry too. If I had known then I wouldn't have said anything." I added. She nodded and whipped her eyes.

"It's ok. You guys didn't know. Ryan we need to go or we'll be late." She said and I nodded. "Alison you can come to if you want." Chloe added. Ali nodded and we all walked to the Wolf Council Headquarters.

Once we were there a very tall intimidating man was standing at the door. He smelt the air then looked at Chloe with an evil look, and he growled at her very quietly. I growled back and he glared at me. "Enter." He said and moved aside. I held Chloe closer to me as we walked in. I looked back to see the gard staring at Chloe's butt and I growled very loudly at him starling Chloe.

"What happened babe?" Chloe asked looking at me.

"It's nothing. Every thing is fine." I reassured her.

"Ryan McCartan of the Moon Blood pack?" A man who sat in the center of multiple people asked looking at me. I slowly nodded. "We see that your mate is a vampire and you want is to remove the vampires and werewolves mate law. Is that correct?" He asked and I nodded. "Are you aware that no one knows exactly how powerful your pups would be if you were to have any?" He asked making Chloe flinch and step back.

"Yes sir we are aware, but we were hoping you would give us a chance." I replied strongly.

"She also hasn't been marked yet." He paused to smell the air and his lips cerled slightly. "At least not all the way." He finished. Chloe blushed and hid her face behind my arm. "We also want to see your wolf form so we can recognize you if we ever see you again." He said and I nodded. I let go of Chloe's hand and let Rocky loose. He turned us into our would form and the man smiled. "We are also good to have to see just how strong this mate bond of yours is. I looked at him confused but understood what he meant as soon as all of the council turned into wolves except the strongest looking man. Each one had scars in different places. The strongest man disappeared but my heart sank when I heard Chloe screaming.

"NO LET ME GO PLEASE!" She yelled absolutely terrified. On instinct I reacted heading toward her screams. I ran and jumped on the guy who was holding her. I growled and once he backed down from the fight I made sure Chloe was ok. She hugged me and I nuzzled her face. "Thank you Ryan." She said with a shaky voice. I whined slightly to say 'your welcome' but she can't understand me.

"Well you have seemed to prove you love her. I think we can all agree that the vampire mates law has been lifted, as long as you are ready to handle the pressure of the dangers your pup could be in especially with the power it may hold. I nodded to him and he let Chloe and I go.

"So little brother how'd it go?" Alison asked. I nodded and she smiled. "That's good." She said and we all went back to the orphanage and went to bed.
