You were on a mission to capture (C/n) and bring him back to Eagle Headquarters. What was sad is that he used to work at Eagle HQ, but he decided to run off because he thought the laws were unfair.

Ever since then, (C/n) had been doing bad things to rebel against Eagle HQ, and of course, they didn't like that.

"Please, be careful on this mission. I- I don't want you to get hurt." Said
(R/p/n). You suspected that (R/p/n) had feelings for you, but you weren't interested. You responded, "Okay, I will try my best."

You ran off, using all of the information you had on (C/n). What was even better was that you knew him the most, yet, that was a curse since he had rebelled. Therefore, it was hard to fight him.

"Okay," You thought out loud, "Eagle Headquarters says that he currently is pale and has (H/c) hair. This is 'helpful'. Now, if I were (C/n), where would I hide?"

You kept thinking until you heard a voice. A deep, sweet, sorrowful voice. "It has been a long time, hasn't it,
(Y/n)?" The voice whispered. "(C/n)." You murmured.

You saw a figure jump down from a tree, a knife in hand. "Ah, you've changed. More beautiful." Said (C/n) with a slight smirk. You feel a hand ruffle through your hair.

You quickly smacked it away. "(C/n), we can do this the easy way, or the hard way. Show yourself. Now." You commanded. You see the face you used to know oh so well.

(H/c) hair, (E/c) eyes, and of course, his lovely smile. Then, the image you saw in your head vanished. You see the new (C/n). He's so pale now, and much thinner. He's in all black, but he's smiling.

You start to feel tears forming in your eyes. "W-what happened to you, (C/n)?" You say grimly. "That doesn't matter right now. All I need is you." He says smiling. You feel arms wrapping around you.

"Oh, (C-c/n)." You say quietly. You wish you could hug him like that forever, but you're on a mission you cannot fail. "Let go, now!" You say screaming at him, tears in your eyes, "(C/n), I can't do this anymore! You are so selfish for leaving me because of the law." You say.

"I never wanted to leave you, I wish you would've come with me." He says quietly. "Join me, (Y/n)." He says, "We could have a life together, free from Eagle HQ."

"Never. Eagle HQ only keeps us safe, and that's where we are headed off to." You say, now crying as you shoot him with a tranquilizer, forcing (C/n) to sleep. "I love you." You say holding him in your arms, as you carry him back to Eagle HQ.

You hand him to your leader. "Hm. Take him to the Emergency Room first, then we'll decide what to do with him." Your leader says. "Oh, and (Y/n), great job." Your leader adds. You nod and follow the doctors to the Emergency Room.

An Hour Later

You know that (C/n) is in the ER, and you feel really bad. (R/p/n) has been trying to lift your spirits, but nothing has worked so far.

So, you decide to visit him. As you walk in, your heart beating rapidly, (C/n) lay on a white bed, fast asleep. "(C/n), I'm so sorry, for everything. Our love is hard, just because of our opinions. You have to follow the law, (C/n)." You say in vain.

(C/n) opens his eyes, then says, "(Y/n), please forgive me. What's great is that y-you, s-still love m-m-me" He then drifts back to sleep. You sigh, because you know how stubborn (C/n) is. He'll never change his opinions.

He still loves me though. You think. "Apparently, darkness can have light." You say softly, and kiss his cheek.
