I awoke to the stinging light of the morning sun. As I yawned, I flinched as last night's wounds started to then hurt.
"Tch..."
I sat down and licked them gently, slowly letting last night's memories hit me.
My wounds started to sting more as teardrops fell down my dirtied fur. I brushed them off and started to walk.
I didn't understand why my family didn't like me, was it my abnormally colored fur? Was it my personality...? Or was it my smile.
The smile that dreaded my family for years, it was weird and strange. They didn't like it...
I just don't understand...
