Chapter 16

Your Pov

I went back outside, finally realizing how exhausted I was. I didn't have anywhere to sleep either. I wonder if there are any places nearby do I don't walk to far. I get my paycheck from the manager, $472.36. This should be enough for an apartment. I walk for about five minutes and come across a nice looking apartment building with a 'vacant' sign. Great, it wasn't to far and looks comfy. I walk in and see two people talking. I walk up to them, both females, one blond and one brunette.

"Hello! Do you need something sweetie?" The blond asked.

"Do you know where I could find the owner to rent an apartment here?"

"You are in luck. I'm the owner, and of course you c a new rent one. It is only $350 a month. It comes furnisher, water, WiFi, electricity, and cable TV. All in the total cost." The brunette says calmly.

"Can you cash a check? I forgot to."

"Yep, how much?" The brunette asks.

"$472.36. Also, what are your names? My name is Y/n."

"I'm Chloe." If that is your name, change it. The blond says.

"Mine is Samantha, or Sam for short." Change it if it's yours. The brunette says.

Time Skip

I don't know what happened after she gave me the apartment key. I fell on the couch and slept the day away. I was now freaking because it was 2:26 in the morning. I'm late for work, I might be fired, and they are probably worrying about me. I don't care for anything else, and run out the door locking it. It was now 2:32. The manager was waiting outside, unhappy.

"I'm so sorry sir! I fell asleep and didn't realize what time it was. I was just so exhausted!" He looked like he wanted to yell at me, but softened when I told him how tired I had been.

"Please just tell me when you need a day or two off. I don't want to fire you. You're the only one who wants this job, and you are good at it. I will be leaving now. Have a good night, Y/n."

I take a deep breath and walk inside. There wasn't a single sound. I walked to the office and saw everyone, even Goldie, waiting for me. They still didn't realize I was there.

"Hello~" Someone said behind me.

I turned around and saw Bonnie. I swear I saw him in my seat and few seconds ago though. I looked back at the office, and he was still there. It wasn't really him though, it was another guy in a security outfit. He had purple hair and skin. He looked up at me and laughed, disappearing.
