*CHAPTER 11 *- THE CONVERSATIONS (PART 1)

GAGE heard a knock on his door. Was he suppose to have any one over today? He thought to his self, he really couldn't remember, then it smacked him like a ton of bricks right in the forehead... It was Wednesday, 12:00 pm, Kassy was suppose to come by, except this time she was bringing her douchebag boyfriend, Taylor.
Before Gage could tell her that Kassy was bringing Taylor, Mykaela went bounding over to the door. Mykaela opened it, and started trembling, tears spilling down her cheeks, then backing away from Kassy and Taylor, she ran back to Gage's bedroom slamming the door.
Kassy entered the apartment, hurt by Mykaela's reaction. Confused, she walked back to Gage's bedroom, knocking on the door. " Mykaela, what's wrong, babe? Let me in, honey. " She knocked a little louder this time.
Taylor sat down on the couch, as Gage glared at him while sitting across from him in the recliner chair. Kassy sauntered over to where Taylor was sitting and sat down on his lap, " G, what the hell is up with Mykaela? What did you do to that girl? " Kassy glowered at Gage.
Gage shifted his eyes from Kassy to Taylor, " Sis, it wasn't me... I'm pretty sure, you might wanna talk to your boyfriend. " At that statement, Taylor shot a nasty glare towards Gage, Kassy could see all to well that Gage and Taylor hated each other. " Hey dude, don't blame your girlfriends spazzing out on me, I don't have nothing to do with that shit. " Taylor stated, never taking his blue eyes away from Gage's honey brown ones.
A few minutes later, they heard the door to Gage's bedroom open, they looked up to see Mykaela peeking around the the corner of the hallway, looking into the living room, glaring at Gage. " Gage, would you come in here for a minute, please? " Gage got up and walked toward her, slowly, he walked past her into his bedroom, Mykaela following behind. She walked over to the bed, sat down and patted the spot next to her, and Gage sat down next to her and wrapped his arms around her tightly. " Baby, what's wrong? Why did you freak out when they got here? Does it have something to do with what you were going to tell me last night about Taylor and what he did to you? " Gage asked, concern laced in his voice. Mykaela shook her head yes, tears sliding down her cheeks. " OK, can you tell me now? " He asked, still concerned. She shook her head yes again. Mykaela wiped the tears away from her eyes and stared at the floor for a minute. " It's okay, Kaela, you can trust me baby, and I'm pretty sure if Kassy doesn't know about it, she would want you to tell her or me to... What happened, baby, please tell me? " Gage spoke in a soothing tone.
" Okay, Gage, I'll tell you... " Mykaela stayed silent for a few more seconds. " Taylor hit me and tried to force me to have sex with him yesterday while Kassy was gone to class. " Mykaela said, as she looked Gage in the eyes, then she saw his eyes were clouding over dark, Gage was furious. Suddenly, without saying a word, Gage stood up, he practically ran to the living room. Before Kassy or Taylor could blink, Gage was on top of Taylor throwing punches to his face. " DID YOU ... *punch* ... REALLY THINK ... *punch* ... SHE ... *punch* ... WOULDN'T ... *punch* ... TELL ME ? ... *punch* ... YOU ... *punch*... STUPID ... *punch* ... BASTARD?! ... " *punch* ... *punch* ... *punch* ... Gage slams his head on the floor.
By the time Kassy and Mykaela pulled Gage off of Taylor, He was breathing so hard and Taylor's eyes were already starting to swell shut, he had a split lip, a gash on his chin, along with one on his temple. Kassy dragged her brother, with Mykaela's help, to his room, " WHAT THE FUCK, GAGE? WHO TOLD YOU WHAT? " Kassy screamed at Gage, eyeballing Mykaela.
Gage was trying to calm down, but he went a head and told Kassy, " Do you realize he tried to rape Mykaela yesterday afternoon? And do you see those bruises on her face and her split lip? He hit her because she was screaming and crying for him to stop. " Gage told her, in a cold tone, " She's fucking terrified of him, Kass. " Gage stared Kassy down, until she looked away from him over to Mykaela.
Kassy stared at Mykaela for a few minutes, " Is that true? Did Taylor try to rape you? And he hit you? " Kassy asked her, tears sliding down her cheeks. Mykaela started crying too, she waited a few minutes before replying, " Yes, Kass... he did, " Mykaela replied, as she broke down into body racking sobs and slumped to the floor, " I'm... so... sorry... Kassy, " Mykaela tried to speak in between sobs.
Kassy couldn't believe it, she honestly didn't want to believe it, but she knew it was true because why would Mykaela be so terrified of Taylor like she is and why, if it wasn't true, would she be sobbing so hard that she could barely breath? She knew it was, unfortunately, true.
Without another thought, Kassy walked over, sat down next to Mykaela, and pulled her tightly into a hug and began to cry with her, " Mykaela, you shouldn't be apologizing to me, Taylor should be apologizing to you and actually kissing both of our asses, " Kassy hugged her tighter and kissed her cheek, while wiping her tears away with the kleenex Gage handed her, " I'm so sorry, he tried to do that to you, Mykaela, " Kassy paused for a second, " I realize now, how much of a scumbag he really is, and why my brother called him a douchebag and why you didn't really like him that much either..., " Kassy paused again for a brief second, " I'm so sorry, I love you like the sister I never had and I'm so glad you and Gage are together... I'll admit... I was afraid of it at first, because of the way he was with girls in the past, but honestly, I don't think he will do anything to hurt you Mykaela, and you guys are so cute together. " With that being said, Mykaela hugged Kassy even tighter, kissed her on the cheek and just held on to Kassy for awhile, until Kassy got up and Gage took her place.
