{7} Unravel

Class ended and everyone headed to the cafeteria, Elin packed her books and left the class, she was heading towards the cafeteria when someone yanked her wrist and drag her to the opposite direction, "H - hey! Who do you-?" Elin stopped mid sentence and looked in front of her, the boy who was currently dragging her had jet black hair, It can't be?

The boy dragged her up all the way to the rooftop till the edge when he released her hand and turned around, his red and blue eyes gaze through her grey ones, "Neo-nii? What are you doing here? Are you perhaps another transfer student?" Elin asked, looking curiously at him. He has changed a lot really, Elin thought, he was taller and more masculine then he was few years' back with a bad boy aura, the streak of dark blue that was on his bangs were more noticeable. "You changed a lot really," Elin muttered truthfully and lean against the bearer. "I heard you were injured yesterday in a fall, are you alright?" Neo said, standing beside her and leaning on the bearer. "I'm fine, but I need to look out for that Yuri girl more than ever now," She muttered.

"Baka, not everything is about other people, I mean, don't you ever care about your own well being?" Neo argued. Elin just shook her head sadly and look at the scenery, the day that Yuri was released at the balcony, she didn't want Yuri to know anything other than the fact that she is a vampire but her past is slowly crawling back to her and this time, there were more people to protect.

"To be honest, I'm scared," Elin admitted, tears were slowly brimming her eyes.

Neo noticed, "Why? Your a brave girl, so what's got you caught in it's trap?" Neo asked, glancing at Elin.

"I don't want anyone else to die anymore, but I'm weak, I put up a fake front to save everyone but is it truly enough?" Elin cried, retreating and tears were flowing down.

Neo felt his heart drop, The reason why we separated, was because of her fear of hurting me, Neo thought sadly, remembering the past events they had together. "No, who says you have to protect us? You chose that decision but that doesn't mean we can't protect you," Neo protested.

Elin closed her eyes and shook her head, her hands covering her eyes, "It's nothing you can do, it's nothing anyone can do! I don't want to see the people I care about hurt! I don't want to see their tears! I don't want to see their blood! I don't want to---Mph!" Neo cut Elin short, he forced Elin's hands away and kissed her.

Elin's hands were on his chest and was trying to push him away but the hands on her back were planted there as Neo continued the kiss, his tongue subsequently slipping pass Elin's lips. Elin tried to pull back but soon lost control and let Neo take dominance on her. His tongue exploring her mouth as their eyes closed and Elin let herself melt into the kiss, the lips that took her first kiss, the lips she kissed back when she was seven, they soon broke away slowly for breath, foreheads touching each other. "No matter what Elin, you know you can always trust us," He said softly. "I'm sorry for the kiss, although we feel nothing but sibling love, this was what I could think of," Neo said sheepishly and scratched the back of his neck, "Don't do that again, for a moment there I thought you liked me again," Elin muttered. "Still though, your a very cute tsundere, lil' sis," "Shut up! Baka!"

Yuri walked into the cafeteria, grabbing her tray, she was about to sit with the vampire brothers but Naruki invited her to sit with him. Yuri debated on the right choice and in the end, she sat with Naruki and his team. Miwa was still looking at her disapprovingly but Haruka has grown fond of Yuri and was currently braiding her hair as she ate her toasted sandwich, the table was talking about recent events and Yuri was glad to be able to join in a few conversations.
