Sarah's POV
I put Khloé's outfit on and straightened my hair. I put it in the high ponytail and wrapped a piece of hair around it. I took my time doing my makeup. I don't contour, I feel like it's too much. For school, I just do my eyebrows, use foundation, top eyeliner, and mascara. It's fast and easy.
"Sarah, c'mon! You're gonna be late!" Kylie yelled from downstairs. I grabbed my phone and bookbag and ran down the steps. Kylie handed me a banana and a granola bar.
"Awe, you look so cute!" She smiled. She was wearing black Jordan's, black spandex, and a black shirt. Her short black hair was tied in a ponytail.
"Thanks, I need a picture for Instagram. Khloé picked my outfit out last night." I said. We walked outside and posed like I was tightening my ponytail.
"Cute," she smiled. She handed me my phone.
"Now we're really going to be late," she said.I ate the food in the car.
"Have a good day, learn something!" She said. I closed the door and walked into the school. I wasn't late, thankfully, there were still a lot of students at their lockers and in the hallways.I got my textbooks out of my locker and closed the door. Avery was at her locker paying not attention to me.
"Hey, I'm sorry I couldn't come to your party. I was busy and stuff," I lied.
"Busy with Dylan?" She scoffed, "Save it Sarah, I know." She slammed her locker and went to homeroom. I looked over and saw Kendra and Holly.
"Hey guys listen, I'm sorry-"
"Don't be. It happened and you can't change it. You could've at least told us that you were going on a date with him! We found out on Twitter. Now everyone knows!" Holly exclaimed.
"Everyone doesn't know," I mumbled.
"She doesn't get it, does she?" Kendra squealed, "everyone knows! You were caught by paparazzi! You guys were all over E! TV, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, you were everywhere! Next time you and Dylan do something like this again, you can tell us." Kendra snapped.
"I really don't think it's your business," I said, looking at the floor.
"No, but as your friend, I deserve to know," Kendra said, getting in my face. Holly pulled her away and they went to their homeroom. I sat down at my locker and waited for the bell."Hey," Dylan said. We were walking to third period when we passed each other.
"Sarah," he pulled me to the side.
"Are you ignoring me?" He asked. I looked into his eyes, but quickly looked away.
"It was a mistake," I said, tears beginning to swell up.
"What do you mean?"
"Avery won't talk to me and Kendra was threatening me, it's not worth it," I said. I wiped the tears that were falling. Dylan pulled me in a hug.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," he whispered.
"It is worth it," he said, "it doesn't matter what Avery or Kendra thinks. They're not us. They don't know. Our relationship is you and me, no one else," he said. I pulled away from him.
"Okay," I agreed.
"Sit with me at lunch," he said.
"Where do you sit?" I asked.
"I'll meet you where you sit, and we'll go to my table," he smiled.
"Okay." I replied. He kissed me and went to class. I wiped my eyes one more time, and went in my classroom.Dylan and I found each other at Avery's table and we went to his table. I should've known he sat here. Dylan saved me a seat beside all the jocks.
"I don't know any of these people," I whispered. He laughed.
"Beside me is Greg Guthrie. Across from us is Bobby Walters. Beside you is Jake Shipley. Most of the guys down there are juniors and seniors," he said pointing to the left, "this group right here is sophomores, and that group of 6 down there is freshman." He said.
"Oh," I said, looking at all the unfamiliar faces.Lunch wasn't that bad. Dylan and I talked the whole time, forgetting that we were with a big group of people. We were only interrupted a few times when Jake and Bobby asked Dylan if he was going to football practice. Dylan's the quarterback.
We walked to fourth period together. Mr.Bell was teaching us how to do geometry proofs. We have to prove how we did each step with the proper term. I didn't get it at all. I always hated math, but since I missed two years of learning, it made it almost impossible. I didn't tell Kylie that I needed a tutor yet, I don't really want one. I'm doing good in my other classes. I understand English, History, and Biology. I just hate math.
Mr. Bell taught all the way to the bell, leaving us with six questions to take home for homework. I grabbed my stuff and went to my locker. Dylan met me there and we started talking about football. I looked over at Avery, who was watching us this whole time.
"C'mon let's just go," Dylan said, pulling me away from her.
"Did you see how she stared at us?!" I asked, walking out the door.
"Yeah, she can be a bitch. I have football practice tonight so I'll call you at six or something," he promised.
"Okay," I smiled. We kissed goodbye and I ran across the parking lot to Kylie.
"Kids, so cute," she smiled. I rolled my eyes.We walked inside and T was making dinner.
"Sarah, you should play with King," T said.
"Why?" I whined, "I have geometry homework."
"After you're done then. He likes you." T said.
"I don't understand how to do this. Kylie, can you help me?" I asked.
"Proofs?" She asked, holding the paper in the air, "no way. Do you want me to hire a tutor for you?"
"No, Dylan can teach me. He taught me how to reciprocate last week." I said.
"But you're grounded, he can't come over to help you," Kylie said.
"He can teach me at lunch."
"Okay, but I'm looking at your grades online. If you get lower than an 80% on a test, I'm getting you a tutor." She said.
I rolled my eyes, "fine, but you don't need to do that."
"Play with King," T said.
"Where is he?" I asked.
"Watching tv in the livingroom," Kylie said.King actually isn't a bad kid. The only thing that bothers me about him is when he plays with his toys. He throws them everywhere and doesn't pick them up. I'm pretty sure every toddler does that, but it still gets on my nerves, which is why I'm not having kids.
"Hey King!" I smiled, sitting on the floor with him.
"Sarah!" He said. He stood up and tried to hug me. I laughed and put him on my lap. He was watching Paws Patrol, and he was really into it.
"Sarah has a new boyfriend," I said to him, "maybe you can meet him soon. Do you want to meet my new friend?" I asked.
"New friend? Yes!" He shouted.
"Okay, you'll meet him soon," I smiled, wrapping my arms around him.
"Sarah, get off!" He said, pulling away. I laughed and walked to the kitchen."I don't think you'll be wearing those pants to school anymore," T said. I got a container of raspberries out of the fridge.
"Why?" I asked. Kylie was setting the table. I washed the raspberries off and sat down on the bar stool.
"Are you kidding me? You have holes going all the way up your leg!" He exclaimed, "are you even wearing underwear?" He asked. Kylie started laughing.
"Khloé picked this out for me to wear, so thank her! And yes! I have a thong on!" I said. Kylie laughed even harder.
"I-I don't want to know," he said. I laughed and ate another raspberry."I'm going to Kourt's after dinner," Kylie announced.
"Can I come?" I asked.
"No, you're grounded. Remember? Terrible teenagers," she giggled.
"Please!"
"Nope, you're stuck with me!" T laughed. After Kylie left, T turned on a kids movie for King, but I had to watch it too. T was at one end of the couch and I sat at the other end. King was jumping off and on the couch.
"King, come lay with me," I said laying down. He layed in front of me and we continued to watch the movie. T's flash went off and he put King and I on his snapchat story.
"Really?" I asked.
"C'mon, it's cute." He laughed. He covered us up in a white blanket and he made popcorn.
