Pool side, changing room.

No no.

I can not possibly have such bad luck.

Seriously, I don't have the most perfect life but nothing has ever gone so badly for me before.

Maybe I'm exaggerating a little. But I just feel so violated and hurt.

I.hate.everything.

Okay to recount what exactly happened that has made me feel like utter garbage...

I'm just walking down the hallway of the hotel merrily skipping about when I see the sign that will lead me to the swimming pool. I know I had packed my swimming costume, so I jumped in joy and hurried in.

And boy, the swimming pool was LUXURIOUS. It was the best pool I had seen in my life. And looking at the silky blue water, waiting for me to glide in it...made me shiver in pleasure. I couldn't wait!

I went into the changing room and put on my swimming costume, having a quick shower after.

Giddy with anticipation, I didn't think to look around at the people arriving at the pool and just dived in.

That was a mistake on my part. I SHOULD have looked around.

The moment my body hit the water, I felt a kind of calm go through my body. Swimming, to me, was like yoga. It just made any day of mine ten times better.

I started doing laps of freestyle from one end of the pool to the other. It made me feel in control and gave me a pleasure I couldn't describe. It was tranquil. It was peaceful.

Of course the world wouldn't let me have my damn moment.

Down the drain goes everything good about the experience.

So I was on my 6th lap of freestyle when I feel two other splashes in the pool, indicating that two people had also entered it.

I didn't give much attention to it and continued swimming, a little more cautious as to not bump into anybody.

I had been completing my 6th lap at 12 feet when

BAM

I bumped into a hard object and lost my balance.

The hard object turns out to be another human body.

But I didn't realize that because I was sinking. I was desperately flailing around in the water, trying to reach the top and when I flexed my right foot, I felt a searing pain go through my body.

Oh shit.

Due to the injury, I sink a little more into the 12 feet. My lungs had started to burn and I could feel my vision slowly blacking out.

That' when I felt two strong arms grab my waist and lift me out of the water, onto the side of the pool.

I gasped for air, sputtering and coughing. Slowly my vision comes back to normal and my lungs stop burning.

And I turn to graciously thank my savior when guess who that turns out to be

Wesley freaking Turner.

That dumb pervert from the plan who asked me to have a quickie with him in the bathroom.

THIS CANNOT HAVE BEEN HAPPENING

It's too much of a coincidence.

THE WORLD CAN NOT BE DOING THIS TO ME!

Plus, he was shirtless and of course just as gorgeous. Muscles and abs and all thing fab.
