"KITTY!!!"
I jumped, banging my head on the shelf above my bed. I cried out in pain and blasted the shelf to smithereens. Mum was calling. I briefly wondered why she was waking me up so early during the summer holidays. I thought for a moment and then remembered that I am starting school next week and I have to get my school supplies. I throw on some green skinny jeans, a black crop top and black converse. I threw my hair up in a ponytail and raced down the stairs for some breakfast.
Already at the table was my mum, my stepdad Mike, a pureblood, and my stepbrother Julian. I sat down and grabbed some cereal before asking what we were doing today. My mum told me that we would go and get me school supplies and then the two of us could spend the day shopping for nice things. We would meet the boys back up and have dinner together.
After breakfast my mother and I went to the bookstore and got my school books. We also bought quills and parchment for me to use in class, I got a wand from Violetta Beauvais' wand shop, and my mum got me an owl, which I named Phoenix.
After school shopping we went for an ice-cream and my mum took me to a nearby mall.
Several hours later we emerged from the mall carrying several bags in each hand. We walked to the restaurant that we had decided to meet the rest of our family for dinner.
