Tyler's POV

"Tyler," Amy whispers in my ear.

I must be hearing things since Amy works today. She didn't come over last night because she knew that if she stayed she would probably be late for work. I groan, burying my face into my pillow and nuzzling against the soft fabric. The second I feel nails grazing down my back, I open my eyes. I hear Amy giggle as she leans down against my back, and kisses my neck and shoulder. I smile, and turn over so Amy is straddling my waist.

"What are you doing here?," I ask, placing my hands on her thighs.

"I've come to take you away for the day," she tells me while tracing circles on my chest.

"I thought you worked today?," I question.

"I lied. I told you that so you wouldn't expect me to show up today," she explains.

"Well where are you taking me away to?," I say, sitting up on the bed.

"We're going to the beach," Amy tells me, wrapping her arms around my neck.

"The beach?"

"Ya, we're gunna have a lot of fun," she says. "But we should get going, so we have more time to spend in the sun."

"Ok well, we need to pack some food and towels and sunscreen for the day," I tell her.

"It's all taken care of. I got everything ready last night. All that's left is for you to get ready to go," she says, kissing my cheek.

I chuckle. "You really put some thought into this, huh?"

"I wanted to plan something special like how you always do," she tells me.

"Well, let's get this day started then."

I move to get up from the bed, wrapping my arm around Amy's waist. I pick her up with me as I get out of bed. Amy giggles as she wraps her legs around my waist. She rests her head against my shoulder as I carry her to the washroom. I set her down on the counter, and she lets go of me so I can start brushing. Amy watches me as I brush my teeth and wash my face. When I finish, I turn around and pick Amy up on my back.

I piggyback Amy out of the washroom, and back to my room. I drop her down onto my bed, and then I start to look through my clothes for something to wear. The good thing about the beach is that I don't have to put too much thought into my outfit. I find some swim shorts and a wife beater, and put them on. There's no point in me doing my hair, so I just put on a hat. I put on some flip flops and I grab my sunglasses, and then I'm ready to go.

"C'mon princess, let's go," I say, grabbing my car keys.

"We have to take my car," she tells me. "All the stuff is in there."

"Ok, but I'm driving."

"Why?," she questions.

"Because I like driving. Gives you a chance to just sit in the passenger's seat, and dance and sing and just be adorable," I explain.

"Ok, but don't wreck my baby," she says, handing me her keys.

"Your car is already pretty shitty," I remark with a chuckle.

"It's not shitty," she exclaims. "It's just a normal car that normal people drive. Sorry I don't have a fancy ass car like you."

"I could buy you one."

"I don't need it," she scoffs. "I'm happy with what I have."

"Ok, I'm sorry I brought it up," I say, noticing her annoyed face. "Just forget that I said anything, and let's go enjoy our day."
