Amy's POV

I groan in annoyance as I hear talking, which disrupts my sleep. You would think that I would've grown used to this since this has become the routine every morning, but I'm not used to it. Every morning, Tyler wakes up before I do. He snuggles up against my stomach, and has little "chats" with the baby. He talks about the most random things with the baby.

I slowly opens my eyes, and I look down at my stomach. Tyler has pulled the sheets off my body, and he pulled my shirt up so that my stomach is bare. He's resting his face against my stomach as he rubs small circles over my skin. His beard tickles me as his mouth moves while he talks. I wake up every morning to this, and every morning it makes me smile.

"You'll like your aunts. They're really cool," Tyler says to the baby. "Although I think you'll like your aunt Cassidy more because she's a bit more relaxed and less judgmental. Your aunt Candace on the other hand, that's a different story. She's not afraid to criticize, and speak her mind. For a long time, she didn't like your mom. I can see why. You see, mommy used to have commitment issues. She never wanted to be with anyone, and fall in love. She had her reasons for it, but that's a story for another time. But anyways, your aunt Candace didn't like your mom because she didn't like the way your mom hurt daddy. But I didn't care or listen. I stayed with your mom, and I got her to fall for me. And now we have you in our lives. Our little angel. I hope when you're older that you'll be like me. I hope you won't listen to what others say. If you want something, put in everything you can to make it yours and maybe you'll get lucky enough to have it all work out. Like how I got lucky to have you and your mom."

"Pretty sure I was the lucky one. You saved me, and made me into a better person," I tell him, putting my hand into his hair.

He looks up at me with a small smile. "I didn't make you into a better person. I just helped you to see just how amazing you truly are."

"Either way, I got lucky. I went from being some girl that slept around with every man she met to being pregnant with the son of the man she loves. I'll forever be grateful for you never giving up on me. Even with all signs, including your sister, telling you to get over me. You stayed with me, and now we're here. I wake up everyday to you talking to our son, and it just reminds me how lucky I am to have you."

"I can't believe I ever considered giving you up," Tyler says, moving off of my stomach and up to my face. "Amelia, I can't stress how sorry I am for leaving you. We went through so much together, and then I just walked away. You opened up your heart to me, and I broke it. You always feared getting hurt, and I hurt you. I'll never forgive myself for that."

"When you left, I really saw how much I had changed. So maybe, in a sense, some good came out of it. I saw how different of a person I am now, and I embraced it. I didn't regret anything that happened between us because it made me into who I am now," I tell him.

"The fact that you're trying to find some good in me leaving just shows how much you love me. You're trying to make something that was painful for you into something good. This is why I love you, Amy," he mumbles, resting his forehead against mine as he places a hand on my cheek. "Your heart is so big. Even when you thought you could never love someone, your heart was so big."

"Well you filled my big heart with love and happiness. Before that, my big heart was empty," I say, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"And then I filled you up somewhere else, and gave you a baby," he adds with a smirk.

I giggle as Tyler presses his lips against mine. He kisses me slowly and softly, caressing my cheek with his hand. I run a hand down his bare back, and his muscles tense from the shiver that runs down his spine. Tyler pulls away from my lips, and stares into my eyes. He scans his eyes over my face, and smiles as he gives me another quick kiss.
