It's been 2 weeks since Stiles had his panic attack and there has been no drama since. Well, that's a lie. Remember those mysterious deaths? Yeah, they're back. Oh and there's more. Yeah, it gets better while I internally kill myself.
You know that feeling, the one where you always think someone is behind you? Literally me right now. I always feel like someone is behind me, staring at me, following me. Do you know how scary that is? Probably, all people know this feeling.
Anyway, today is one of those days where nothing happens at school, you go home, you eat. You sleep. But after I took my shower I hear a familiar honk outside. I looked out the window to see Liam and Mason waiting for me outside inside a Toyota convertible. Liam was in the passengers seat while Mason was in the back seat. And Kira was in the drivers seat. I smiled to myself, grabbed my jacket and ran out.
"Where are you going?" Diana asked from the couch with an apple in her hand.
"Out" I simply replied. I made my way down the stairs and out the on the street. "Hey" I smiled at Liam and Mason, then at Kira.
"Hey," Liam replies first "we were wondering if you wanted to join us, we're going to this party at Lydia's house, it's her birthday." He shrugs and Mason opens the door to the backseat.
"Sure." I answer with a smile and climb into the car. The ride was silent, other than the music on the radio, and when we finally arrived to Lydia's house, the music out there was louder than the music inside the car. Kira parked and the four of us went out of the car, and started walking toward the house.
"Seems awesome already!" Mason exclaimed as he giggled to himself. Kira rang the bell and we were greeted by the strawberry blonde beauty.
"Hey!" Lydia said as she hugged the four of us and smiled "glad you could make it." She smiled wider and let us in. The interior of this queen's house was amazing. The furniture was polished, the chandeliers were gleaming and the marble stairs were shining. "Right," Mason said as he clapped his hands together as if he was ready to do something. "I'm gonna go party." He grinned wildly and ran off to the pool, where the music was the loudest and the people were the craziest. Kira tapped Liam on the shoulder, and both me and him looked at her. "I'm gonna look for Scott," she said, "Apparently Stiles and Malia didn't come because Malia is worrying about him since that panic attack, and they need to work things out between them anyway. Scotts's probably by himself." She smiled kindly at us and walked off, her long wavy black hair bouncing behind her as she walked. You know those people that you don't really know, but that you love immediately just because they're so nice and you can't hate them? Kira is one of those people.
Liam and I were now left alone. "So, do you wanna go dance?" Liam said as he raised his eyebrows at me, his lips forming the most adorable smirk ever. "I'm a terrible dancer, but sure." I grinned right back at him, took off my jacket, threw it onto the coat rack and ran with him to the pool. We danced for so long, yet we never got out of breath. Kira and Scott were dancing too, but a lot more intensely since they were kissing every two seconds. Obviously, Stiles and Malia were nowhere to be seen. Mason was the star of the show, dancing with about 5 guys at the same time, and Lydia- wait...Lydia was nowhere to be seen either. I stopped dancing as I looked around. She was nowhere. No one had hair like her, so it's easy to spot her, but I couldn't see her at all. Liam looked at me and furrowed his eyebrows. "Are you okay?" He asked, and I was awoken from my gaze.
"Who, me?" Great Sam, so very smart, who else would he ask? "Yeah I'm fine." I smiled and looked at his beautiful blue eyes. He stuck his hand out and smiled kindly, "c'mon, let's get out of here." He grinned and I took his hand. He took me away to a room upstairs, I think it might have been Lydia's room, and I sat on the bed. "I'm sorry if I dragged you out." I started to apologize.
"There's nothing to be sorry for." He gave me another of those kind smiles and sat next to me. "Before I do anything stupid, you're single. Right?" He asked me. My heart started to beat faster. What was he going to do? Please kiss me. I thought. I licked my lips and nodded. "Yeah." I answered quietly. And then my prayers were answered.
The kiss was magical. His lips were soft, and they would send chills down my spine every time they touched mine. He had his hands around my waist while mine were tangled in his hair, as our kiss just got deeper and deeper. My heart was racing faster than a bloody greyhound at this point. Neither of us pulled away for longer than I can remember. Until we were interrupted by a very loud, high pitched scream. Liam pulled away first as he covered his ears with his hands and winced in pain. It didn't affect me as much as it seemed to hurt him, so I ran to the window to check if I could see what happened. All I could see was a girl with strawberry blonde hair kneeling down next to what seemed to be a torn up, lifeless body. Lydia finally stopped screaming, and I ran to Liam to see if he was okay. Once he nodded, we both looked at each other and ran downstairs. There was already a crowd of gasps around Lydia, Scott, Kira and Mason were kneeling right next to her. Liam did the same, and even though I wasn't exactly part of their gang yet, I did the so too.
The body was torn up into pieces, more than the previous murders. Claw marks and bite marks were all over what was left of the person (from all the pieces we couldn't figure out if it was a boy or a girl). Lydia was sweating from everywhere, he hands bloody as she stared beyond the body, in the woods. Kira had a blanket around her, and Scott was already making his way to the woods. I started to breath heavily as I started to feel light headed. Stiles and Malia had arrived in Stiles' jeep. My vision started to go blurry and my hands started to get all clammy. I could feel myself getting weaker, my heart beat accelerating, and not in the good way. I was on the bridge of fainting when a warm hand tangled itself into my cold one. I heard a faint voice saying "It's okay, you'll be alright." As I looked up to see a pair of crystal blue eyes looking at me. My vision started to clear as Liam squeezed my hand. My heart went back to normal, and my breathing calmed down. Even though I felt safe, warm and cozy around Liam as he embraced me into a hug, I only had one question inside my mind.
When Lydia screamed, Liam was in pain. When everyone was looking at the body, and so was I, Liam knew I wasn't feeling well.
How did he know?
