Part22

I walked down the creaky steps to the surprisingly very large basement. You could tell its been used as a bedroom of some sort because of the bed in the far corner and the assorted desks and wardrobes. I was a little freaked out when I couldn't see Calum straight away, it made me very nervous that he could be hiding somewhere in the shadows.

I walked further through the basement to find a window sill and Calum sat on it, I walked carefully over to him and his head slowly lifted. Calum eyes met mine and he jumped off the window sill and walked quickly towards me, his arms wrapped around my waist and gave me a hug. I hugged back because I'm sure he's just a scared as I am. "Y-you came Y/N!" Calum said happily. I smiled at the Calum I once knew. His eyes were still red and his fangs were out, and that did make me feel a little nervous but from what I've learned when I first met Michael, vampires are misunderstood. "I sure did, the boys Luke and Ashton said you wanted to see me" I smiled back at him. " yeah, it's just I'm not me at the moment and your my best friend, your the only one I can talk to" he bowed his head. I rubbed his arm and he continued to have eye contact with me. "But Calum your fine now, you taking to me and being happy" I said hoping he'd realise it.

He walked back and went to sit back on the window sill, his head turned so he's looking out of the window. "I am dangerous, my appetite has gone out of control, I can no longer control it" I moved closer to him. "I-I feel normal and then I feel evil and I've had so many bad thoughts on harming all of you, my friends" he continued, his voice seemed to break and he hid is face in his hands. "Calum, you can fight this you have fought it before" I smiled and placed myself next to him. "It's not that easy anymore, I've been away from blood to long to give it up just like that" he frowned.

I didn't know what to say to him I wanted to help I really did but he's in a war with himself, only he can stop it. "Calum I-" I stopped myself when I realised Calum wasn't sat next to me anymore. "Cal?" "Cal?" I yelled. "Dam this place is big" I thought. I got up and wandered around looking for him again, I walked past the staircase I walked down when suddenly the door at the top of the stairs flew open and Michael was stoop waiting for me. "Babe come on, you've had long enough Calum might flip, you can see him later" Mikey said while cautiously looking around the basement. "Okay I'm coming" I said while climbing up that stairs. "Bye Calum" I whispered as Michael walked away from the door, I stepped on the step and closed the door behind me. Ashton came down to lock the door and me and him walked back up stairs to watch some movies.

Another update 🙌🏻 I'm really having good ideas about this book 💜 I'm still not sure if the crazy Calum thing is good but i think some people will like it 🌍 the next chapter will be something fun don't worry, I'm not sure if you like all this drama/tension thing I have going on in this book🙄 but just to be sure I'm gonna add some happy fun time Into it 🌙
