Moon Cycles

So, the VanCorbin Coven depends on ranks and honor and society. But, they, like any other supernatural creature, must have a reason.
There were once vampire societies that rules over the land. That is, until the aliens and other species came and took over.
Nowadays, the vampires spirits lay in mirrors. Have you ever wondered why vampires cannot see their reflection?
But, I'm off topic. The spirits told the new, reborn vampires to watch the moon.
So they created the moon cycles.
On new moons, when the sky is dark, you must hold a Coven Meeting.
On half moons, the elders take home slaves. On the next half moon, they are released and a new slave is chosen.
On full moons, fledglings are captured and bitten. Two full moons later, the fledgling becomes a warrior.
If a child is born on a new moon, they are special, they are picked to be heirs and elders before others.
