The elders are the highest rank in the coven. They make all decisions, hold Coven meetings, lead hunts, recruit new fledglings, give the ok to breed, and capture slaves. They must have a great relationship with the Coven, if they have enemies or nemesises, there may be an overthrow.
Their color is black, their clothes are black, their rooms are black, their beds are black.
There are only four elders, they can be any mix of females and males, as long as there is at least one male and one female. The only thing the VanCorbin discriminates is species.
The elder room. There are four late night coffin beds, two late night double beds for breeding, four dressers and four magic mirrors. The magic mirrors represnt their ancestors who will help them make decisions for the coven.
Make the house have little or no windows, we don't want them to get burnt!
Elders live for 10 moon cycles. Then they must sacrifice themselves to thirst to let the camp be refreshed. See revulsion for another way for elders to die.
Before the elders die, they may choose two warriors at their last Coven meeting to be their other successors, besides the heirs.
