Writing City, what do you picture? A city that births natural writers? Schools that focus on writing? Or a city full of writing? BEEEEEEP wrong. Actually its quite ironic because it's the exact opposite. Its a city that writing in any form of literature or entertainment is banned. Thats right, you read that correctly BANNED. Horrible right? Like, how can one live in such a city? Well let me tell you a story of a young writing rebel that did.

Alfred was nine years old when he first discovered how to write letters. He had to teach himself because nobody else would. His mom was an engineer and his father was a ghost I guess. ( 'LIGER DONT GET INVOLVED IN THE STORYYYYYY!!!'  sorry yeesh) Alfred had an older sister that was a factory worker. She didn't know much since school was canceled. They didn't have much else to teach since writing was, you know, banned. *Shudders*  Alfred spent countless hours in his room practicing letters and arranging them into certain ways. Ways that seemed familiar for example his name, his mom's name, and his favorite words. This was fun for awhile but it got boring. So he started taking those arrangements and making them into phrases and sentences. Of course this is after years of practice and little help from the news or paperwork. But this wasn't enough he wanted more. One day on his 14th birthday, he set out on an adventure to find writing. Alfred knew it was out there but just didn't know where. When he was almost to the end of the city he encoutered a huge wall. Also to the city know as writer's block. It was a wall that went taller than his young mind can calculate. But he was determined to get passed. He tried to climb ot by using the tiny holes in the wall. He slipped and scraped his knee real bad. He started to cry and think why was he doing this. He turned back and looked for the nearest bus stop. He waited there for what seemed like days until the bus came. He got his money out and stood up. Alfred looked down at his knee and seen that it stopped bleeding. He looked up at the bus driver who was getting increasingly impatient. He stood there for what felt like days then walked away. He was determined to get past that wall. Studying the ground he tried to move the newly paved cement but to no avail. He walked the length of the wall hoping to find a weak spot or a hole to go through. It was 5 miles long and it took an hour to get to the end  which of course connected to a wall. He looked up it and he seen a guard tower. Alfred took out his binoculars from the adventure bag he packed. He seen the guard sleeping and decided to scale the wall. Which wasn't too hard with the poorly paved corner. The boy put away his binoculars, slung his bag over his shoulders, and began to climb. He slipped again but this time didn't give up. He was determined to get to a world with writing. After falling 7 times and nearly breaking his leg, he finally got to the top. He looked out and seen the most amazing thing of his lyfe, writing EVERYWHERE! Billboards! Store signs! Ads! He was so mesmerized he didn't notice the guard waking up....
