"Sil-Silver? What are you doing here?" Shadow asked in a quiet tone.

Silver smiled. "Im glad you're okay bud, I was worrying about you."

Shadow smiled back. Silver walked out of the room to the front door but a hand stopped him.

"Put him the fuck down. NOW." a familer voice alert them.

Silver looked behind him to see a angry blue hedgehog.

Silver growled. "I'm taking Shadow with me." Sonic was about to punch Silver but then Silver used his powers to stop him to do so.

Silver ran out the house with Shadow in his hands. "I won't let him hurt you. I'll protect you." Silver stated.

Shadow smiled and closed him eyes.

(One boring ass hour later)

Silver opened the front door to his house and walked in slowly with Shadow sleeping peacefully in his hands.

Silver sighed, putting Shadow on the couch. He grabbed a blanket that was near him, putting it on Shadow.

Silver smiled staring at Shadow. He looked so... Peaceful. Silver walked up the stairs, to his room, and sat on the bed, thinking. He looked tiredly to his side, over to the window. A bird sat on the branch that dangled from the tree, about ready to fall. Silver glared at the little one, as if the bird was laughing at him.
