My first reaction? Get back in my car.

I tugged on the handle. My car was sadly on safety lock for an "unexpected guest".

The dragon did not seem pleased with my expression. It grabbed the car from the highway, blew at it, and threw it-hurtling towards a cornfield. There was a huge impact and a wildfire started to form. It was 6 miles- away from a suburban area in Alberta.

I had to work quickly. I shot arrows and they burst into flames. (Leo!!!) The drakon caught the arrows with its teeth and spit it back out, forming a fire around me. I yelped. My firewood was still in my pocket!

I need to get rid of the fire. But how?

Then I remembered a giant they told us in monster class. A hyperborean giant. I thought of the creature and I felt my hair get icier and my body get bigger.

I grabbed a boulder at my side. "HOW DO YOU LIKE THIS FOR YOUR OWN SIZE?!" I threw it at the dragon's nose. It howled in pain. That gave me just enough time blow out the wildfire and the surrounding fire.

I changed back into a human. The dragon was lying on the road, holding its nose with its claws. Ichor was spilling out of the wound.

I felt bad. I didn't like killing things, especially when I can turn into animals and monsters. I feel like I'm killing myself.

I walked closer to it and I saw the shades it had. It was purple and blue with white dots. But every time it's wings would flap, the pelt turned into imperial gold.

Mrs. Charlie, my monster teacher at my old school, Jupiter's Junior High, (I know, every school I go to is named after a Roman god. Deal with it.) said that you can tame any flying animal, Pegasus, Stymphalian Birds, gryphons etc., by scratching its ear. Weird, huh?

I quietly tiptoed next to the dragon. It looked sad, but how was I supposed to scratch its ear? It could be my transportation since it BLEW UP MY CAR!

All of a sudden, a red ray of aura flashed from the sky and on the road, there lay a spear pole. Thank you Dad! I thought.

I grabbed it and scratched the dragon's ear. The tip sparked and the dragon looked over at me. I kept scratching its ear. Then I dropped the spear and scratched its ear with my hand. Surprisingly, the back was very soft, like a pillow.

I morphed my quiver and bow back into my backpack. Then I grabbed one of my canteens of nectar and poured it on the dragon. The dragon spoke. (I can interpret and speak animals, monsters and creatures. One of the other benefits of being descended from Neptune.)

Thank you kind sir. What is your name?

I tried to use my inner James Bond voice. "The name's Zhang. Frank Zhang."
