-Melody's POV-

Melody's hands twitched excitedly causing the papers to shake in her arms. Destiny was following close behind as she led her to the tea shop she visited earlier, the one that Ezzie and Rose owned.

It is alright, Melody thought, this is your chance. This is possibly your twin sister you have been looking for since you have woken up from that 15 year slumber

Before Melody bumped into Destiny, she just exited Ohkasis' library. She managed to snag some scrolls from the shelves about Ohkasis' royal ancestry and the kingdom's history. She hoped to find something about the past king and queen, but the librarian wasn't much help at all. She just tilted her head when Melody mentioned the past king and queen.

"Are we heading to Soft Waters Cafe?" Destiny asked out of the blue, startling Melody out of her thoughts. Melody looked over her shoulder for a second to glance at Destiny.

"Uh, yes. I've only been there one time. Is that the cafe's name?"

Destiny nodded, "Yeah. The family that works there specializes with water magiks."

"I thought O'hkasis didn't like mages roaming around freely?"

"Oh, they aren't roaming around freely. They have to stay in the cafe at all times. A little boy comes around and helps run errands for them."

Melody nodded. Maybe that was why Ezzie knew that Melody dealt with magiks. Because Ezzie was a mage herself.

After a few more steps down the busy streets, Melody found herself in front of the run-down cafe. As she was about to step inside once more, she noticed a sign that she hadn't noticed before. Weeds grew around it so it was hard to make out the words, but she knew it said "Soft Waters," after what Destiny told her. Too bad Ezzie nor Rose couldn't tend to the over growing gardens outside.

Melody heard the familiar chime of the bell as she entered, Destiny following. Melody didn't see Ezzie at the counter and no one else was around. An eerie silence hung in the air.

"I guess we seat ourselves." said Destiny, already pulling out a chair and sitting down. Melody followed.

"What did you want to talk about?" Destiny asked, surprising Melody.

"H-how did you know that I wanted to chat?"

Destiny rolled her eyes, "It's not everyday someone invites me to lunch. It must've been for something,"

Melody flexed her fingers, tapping them on the table,

"Well, I just wanted to talk abo-"

The door behind the counter swung open and Ezzie appeared in the doorway, her dark purple eyes glancing around the room until finally her eyes rested on Melody and Destiny. A red stain was on her apron.

"Oh. You brought your friend," Ezzie said, her tone dull.

"Hey Ezzie," Destiny replied, bluntly.

Ezzie waved a little back at her and went behind the counter,

"What do you guys want?" she asked.

Melody waved her hand a little, a gesture to show that she was full, but Destiny ordered a small cup of green tea and a croissant. Ezzie nodded at the order and disappeared into the kitchen.

"Hmm..." Destiny hummed thoughtfully, "I wonder where Rose is. Usually she's exited when she has customers."

Destiny turned her head to look at Melody, "Oh, sorry. Please continue."
