Something was happening and he had to know what. He broke into the manor, barreling through until he was at the wooden door of the tower. A puddle had built up from inside the door to which he firmly pressed his ear against.
"I am your protector. I am the one who set your journey in motion. I do not want to relive the past, so I'll help you to not repeat it. I am Sol."
The voice was like a serrated dagger in his memory. He braced himself, then slammed into the door, causing it to cascade, loudly, onto the door.
"I swear by the Queen if you touch her!"
  "Do your worst!"
"You are a lier! You're the reason She hates me! You made my soulmate hate me!" At this he lunged. Sol stood there and just took it. He didn't even make Sol sway! Joey (who had gained consiousness) laughed.
"You think she hates you now, just wait until I tell her about last night." A grin formed on Joey's face. He looked at her as she clung to Cole. Joey crossed over to her and took her hand gently in his.
"You see, darling, this man, whom calls himself your 'soulmate', slept with another woman last night. As a matter of fact, that's where he was coming from when he stummbled in here."
She whimpered. She grabbed Cole and ran off. She stumbled through the halls until she came across an iron door. She pushed the door open and pulled Cole inside. She slammed the door behind them. With her newfound powers she heated the handle untill it was to hot to touch, then froze the door in place.
He tried to follow her and Cole, but to no avail. She chose a room with an iron door. He couldn't touch it. Even being near it stung him and made his fangs protrude.
Sol came up behind him. The laugh he gave was almost psychotic. Sol examined the door. "She's getting used to it." Sol let out another chuckle.
"You should know better. She'll never trust you. When the memories return to her, you will regret everything. Go back to your false queen. Her soul is cursed, and all you'll do is delay the inevitable. Her soul didn't just connect to you."
Hearing this, the blood drained from his face. Did she know what Sol did to her?
"I don't know what you mean. Have you told her you murdered her family? Our souls connected first. If we must do this again and again, then so be it." At this he left the manor. When he was out of earshot, he started to cry.
