Continuous thoughts consumed him. He watched Val sleep, so pieceful and happy beside him. He didn't want to hurt her, but he couldn't stay with her, not like this.
She layed there so sweet and beautiful under the satin. It hugged her frame so well. He almost wanted to wake her just to do what had already took place. Although he knew it would only hurt her more.
He got up and put his cloths back on. He looked at her one last time, then stalked out the door. The crisp night air felt odd. As if power was emiting and flowing from all over.
"This isn't good." He groaned to himself. He had to figure out how to get to her. She was getting strong. He couldn't even feel their link. Had she figured out how to cut him off?
He wanted to find her, but he didn't know where to start. He was breaking apart inside without her. How could one woman break apart his whole world? She doesn't even love him! Clearly the bond was affecting him more than it was her.
Rain started pouring down, soaking him in an instant. He paused his walking for a moment to take in his surroundings. He was in the Victorian part of town. He had stopped in front of a house that had an allmost gothic feel.
The house was grey with three stories. There was a large tower on the east end of the structure. The window on the tower looked frozen over, as if from the inside. His curiosity peaked. Then a light flashed from the window.
